Great toilets & showers & washup, felt very new, 2019.
Breakfast takeaway for good coffee(£2.50) & croissants (£1).
Lovely views.
No cars next to tents -so no blaring radios or slamming doors :)
Fire pits to rent & firewood.

cons
- 80% on a slope
- water points are up by the farm. Someone told me there was one at the bottom of one field but I couldn't find it.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Good walks up on to the moors or along the river Wharfe which is spectacular.
Steam train nearby & Bolton Abbey
the campsite had great expectations as it was named on a top campsite list.... but it's just a standard site.
there is no guide to pitching just where ever you like and the is no arrival or departure times.
you need to pay £10 deposit for a tag to go on your tent /van which is unusual.
facilities were ok, cold showers on day one, then they were a good temperature but queues for toilets and showers at peak times.
we stayed bank holiday so site was busy, we pitched with friends in a tactical position to ensure we had no large groups nearby!
little coffee shop and food van on site.
Bolton abbey 10 min walk, hesketh farm 5 mins walk.
