first time and won't be the last. flat site, and amenities are never far from your motorhome/caravan. peaceful at night and with an 8 mile dog friendly beach on your doorstep was fantastic. our meg was out cold!!!!View all reviews by meggy
also a word for the staff how greeted us amd raised a hand everytime they past.
Huge campsite, lots of seasonal pitches but still loads of spaces with very large pitchesView all reviews by lizthorne
Lovely new toilet and shower block
This is a great site, much cheaper than the nearby C&MC site, and nearer to the beach! Helpful staff and a warm welcome. Good facilities well worth the money. Family site so expect a lively environment in parts, but the evening was quiet and peaceful. Well worth booking here as a stopover, we will happily do so again.View all reviews by naughtyrascal
We spent 2 nights here and found a lovely friendly site with new washrooms and surrounded by great walking in forest and on beach. Good choice of fully serviced , ehu or just a pitch. Only thing missing was a shop. But you couldView all reviews by Columbus
drive into Burry Port with free parking at harbour. There was a good Coop there.
Great site, great location and lots to do for walkers, cyclists and just general stuff. Site pretty flat and new toilet/shower block very good with nice hot water and good showers.View all reviews by steverouth
Restuarant is currently being build in old gunpower factory building and may have a shop as well because this is the only thing missing from the site
Run by Carmarthenshire Council and not to be confused with CMC site (this is considerably cheaper). New shower blocks this season. All grass pitches but EHU and water on our pitch. Quiet family site. Inside park so no additional fee for entry. Country park has plenty to do: woodland walks/cycles, playgrounds, beach, dry slope skiing and toboggan track. 20 minutes cycle to Burry Port. Few cafes in park (limited choice) and burger van open in evenings. We extended our stay by 1 day.View all reviews by jools0472
Turned up here at 5pm Saturday night to be told by a security guard that the site was closing for the winter and we couldn't stay. Looked to be a large spacious site so will hopefully return next year. Pembrey park is a lovely place to visit.View all reviews by welsheagle
Two night stay with friends, didn't get chance to really appreciate the area because the weather was poor.View all reviews by radders14
This didn't spoil our visit because the site is ideally located for walking, cycling and dog walking.
Toilets and showers are in a shipping container but they are excellently kitted out inside, well heated and very clean.
We love this place. Fantastic location inside the vast country park with miles of walking, cycling and beach. Reasonable prices. pitches are all flat grass but sand based so no worries about getting stuck in mud even for our large tag axle. Facilities are basic but clean and adequate although not enough when the site is busy but I think they are adding more this year. The wardens are very helpful and friendly. The site can get very busy during peak times but if you're happy to go without electric there's always a quieter corner to be found. Open all year.
