Nestled in Robin Hood‘s North Nottinghamshire Trentfield Farm is located on the banks of the River Trent in the quiet hamlet of Church Laneham. We are a caravan and camp site that‘s ideal for visiting Sherwood Forest, The city of Lincoln, Sundown Adventureland and Clumber Park. We work on a good old fashioned policy of a traditional Caravan and camping site, but with all the mod cons and excellent customer service.

Excellent site with good recently refurbished facilities. The pitches are large and level all on grass and a very well run site with friendly helpful wardens . Plenty of good walks locally and the local pub is well worth a visit serving excellent food.

Quiet site at the side of the river Trent. All level grass pegs, facilities basic but kept clean, vending machine for essentials like eggs bacon etc. Free WiFi but not a good signal. Wardens very welcoming and helpful, all in all a pleasant stay

Used to have a seasonal pitch here so very familiar with the site. There are two large fairly level grassed areas, one for general pitching and seasonal pitches and another for rallies and overflow camping. The shower block is regularly cleaned throughout the day and water is hot enough for use. The blocks can get busy at peak times. The site is well kept and the owners are very friendly and amenable if you want to pitch with a group. Relaxed area with lots of friendly locals. The Ferry Boat serves meals and puts on live music in the summer. The Bee Knees which is part of the Springhead Brewery serves meal and has great beer with occasional family activity events. Both are within easy walking distance. Local area is rural with short drive to Retford market town. The riverside location is perfect for walks and watching the boats and jet skiing. Large covered pot washing area and book swop. There is also a small shop / newsagent close by. Owners and wardens keep the site tidy and try to accommodate your requests , within reason. They also walk the site regularly to make sure everything is well. Fire pits allowed with sensible precautions and relaxed about groups although there is the usual expectation that noise will be reduced after 11pm. Great site for families as there is plenty of room for the kids to run around and explore.
