Handy for access to Belfast. 20 min drive or there is the option of a train. Sainsburys next door and several restaurants within walking distance. Continental style service point. Free black water dump, EHU and fresh water payable. Jetons from castle, open 1000-1600. Downside is the noise. Busy main road and its a meeting place for local yoof and their cars in the evening. The council road sweeper arrived at 0630 on a Sunday morning.View all reviews by hellfire
Busy car park close by very busy trunk road to Belfast City till late night. Very noisy. Coaches park here too with engines running. Boy racers gather here. We were disturbed at 3.30am by loud cars and music. I would not come here again. Good point - close to Sainsburys.View all reviews by deed

We tried to buy a jet on for the services. We were told to go to the blue and white building where the tourist offices were to buy them. This was the marina reception which is on the instructions. They knew nothing about it. Hey ho.
Toilets are very clean and good. Close overnight.
Update, tokens only available from the castle which closes at 4pm and opens at 10 am.View all reviews by christopherrobb
Tokens now cost £2 per hour. The details in the service unit have not been updated to reflect the change.
Contacted the local tourist office one week before leaving to find out where we got the token from and were told that we could get them from the Castle - what they didn't tell us was that there would be a fair filling the carpark over the Easter holidays so we were not able to park here. The lovely ladies in the Castle were able to tell us where the next nearest service point was. (Bentra Golf Course)View all reviews by sheilawise
We stayed 2 nights, Sunday and Monday. Both nights it was full of young men in cars, mainly just hanging out together with the odd one racing about. It didn't feel intimidating and they were pretty much gone by 10:30pm and it was very quiet after that. There are plenty of places to eat and shop. The Flame gas museum was really interesting to visit. Overall, a good place to visit for a day or two.View all reviews by alimik
We stayed her overnight on a Sunday returning from Portrush. The site is very basic but fulfils its purpose. We had been warned about joy riders around the carpark but there was none the night we visited.View all reviews by dazdalzell
As other reviews, facilities working fine now, Saturday was a bit noisy with "boy racers" but nothing intimidating. Good stopover, supermarket adjacent, entertainment choices. Was told could park anywhere, think previous mention of only 2 spaces means they should be left free for using the service point not for staying in! Marina office is in blue block of flats opposite Sainsbury's, signage not very clear!View all reviews by arthur
Parking in a large free car park between the old harbour and Carrickfergus Castle. A great central location to visit the castle Unfortunately the service point was out of action when we visited, The next available service point is 6 miles along the road near Whitehead. There are only 2 normal size car parking spaces, one either side of the service point - so larger vehicles may struggle to use it. There are no ground grates for grey water dumping, just a small grate at the foot of the service point - so you will need some sort of hose to connect to your tank outlet to reach the grate. This car park is very busy during week days with local workers and others parking there to commute into Belfast and can be noisy in the mornings while everyone is parking up around you. Car Park is free - service point is £2 for electricity and water when it is working.View all reviews by goingnomad
Parked there for 1 night while visiting relatives , also went to visit the Castle which is right beside the Harbour , we arrived at night and it was quiet , but in the morning it was busy with workers etc parked.View all reviews by bart
Pleasant surprise to find this spot. Only stayed one night but it was nice and peaceful. Lovely view over harbour and had a nice brunch in a local pub (can't remember name!)View all reviews by celcat
Facilities there if you need them for water and waste.
Large harbour car park, very open with busy main road nearby, so lots of traffic noise. Intended to stay here on way to ferry, but moved on due to boy racers in the car park. Went up the road to Whitehead Golf club and enjoyed a very restful night there instead. I may just have got unlucky, and would probably stay here in future if the signs are rightView all reviews by dobbo1950
