We stayed here on our way out, great pub, We were greeted by the owner happy to have us stay the night. The staff were very nice and the friendly locals were happy to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed two lovely pints a lovely meal each and two large glasses of wine with a stay overnight all for £40 pound. highly recommend this pub if you are out this way.

Phoned from France after reading last review. Left a message and had a call back from lovely friendly owner. Booked our table for lunch and overnight stay. Great food, friendly owner, staff. Lovely outside seating area. The dogs loved the stream. There is also a public footpath across the road that goes through orchards, so again the dogs were happy.

Stop here when we’re going to France as its only 30 mins from Eurotunnel. Anne and Ray are good hosts who are motorhomers themselves so are understanding of a travellers needs. Anne likes to collect fridge magnets from people when they come back from a trip. We have one for them in the van from Croatia. Beer and food are good and we’ve spent several nights indulging and chatting with the locals. Beautiful location right next to a stream and there’s a paddock with a horse and a donkey. Great kids play area too. EHU if you need it.

A warm and wonderful welcome, a log fire, and fantastic food. A Perfect stopover that will be a guaranteed stop everytime we pass. Check out my video review at https://youtu.be/0w75Cb53L8s

Lovely spot to park, next to a field and away from the main car park. Very pretty pub with stream in garden. Good range of beers. We didn't eat as our visit was on a Sunday evening, when they don't serve food. Stopovers may cease here shortly, as the lovely landlords are leaving in August to open their own campsite about a mile away (Orchard Cottage).

Lovely pub to stop at. A warm welcome, great food and good beer. Perfect start to a holiday. A few minutes off the A20 and about 30 minutes from Dover.

We are in the Swan Inn now. Dedicated motorhome space as the field is a little wet. Booked for dinner but arrived early so have just had a bar lunch. Very friendly staff, a great steak baguette and triple cooked cheesey fries! Whetted my appetite for dinner later tonight!!

Stayed over on a Sunday night. Although food had finished Brian and Roy still offered us something to eat. Extremely welcoming. Log fire. Good selection of ales. Helpful staff. Ring ahead! Max 3 vans. Don't think it is suitable for anything over 7 metres. Car park not huge. Ideal for ferry and tunnel.

Nice country pub, recently reopened with new owners. Good food and only just off the A20 so convenient en route to Dover, EuroTunnel etc. Nice walks in the area. Unfortunately only the village pub, no local shop in the village. Parking is now only in the car park as the field that you could park in (if dry) has now been turned into a paddock for horses.

very Friendly and welcoming, free to stay over if using pub, we had a lovely meal with excellent service, no services, great stop-over for Dover ferry or shuttle, will certainly use again. You need your own facilities as it's just the pub car park,
