the car park is not level but is okay we did not level up and the gas still worked so no problems, it is a bit narrow up the roads to the location of you are a bit concerned re tight spots
Needed to be in Tonbrige Wells area to meet up with friends. Emailed in advance and booked lunch on terrace which was a good idea even on a Monday. Car park is on a slope but best at the bottom under the trees with only a slight slope. Food so good we ate again in the evening. Monday offer curry and a drink for £10 probably the best pub curry I’ve eaten. Nice choice of walks from the pub.View all reviews by andhil
Lovely food and staff big car park lots of room on a bit of a slope but we managed to park at the end where it's a bit flatterView all reviews by Bazawf
Comleted our 3 days in the footsteps of Anne Boleyn and Henry Vlll at this superb hostlery The Spotted Dog. Visited Pashley Manor, Hever Castle and Penhurst Place from the Tudor Dynasty. The Spotted Dog is very close to Penhurst so ideal as a last night stopover. We received a very friendly welcome from the host and staff, excellent menu with daily specials. The carpark offered easy parking for our Symbol Autosleeper and was a Royal end to our history trip. ( might need levelling ramps in some spots).View all reviews by Pixy

Lovely country local. Roaring fire and great food. Staff and locals very friendly. Ideal for visiting nearby places of interest. For example, Hever Castle and Chartwell.View all reviews by nickloftus4
A quaint, proper little country pub in a peaceful location.View all reviews by Islandera2
Staff and locals were very friendly and the pub is dog friendly.
Good food, reasonably priced.
Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Lovely little country pub with gorgeous views from the back. I stayed free having bought dinner at the pub, carpark not level but some spots flatter than others. A popular locals pub, very friendly, great staff and food was really good! For £22 I had 2 drinks, a starter and main course, and a fabulously quiet nights sleep.View all reviews by bcameron

One of the best pub stays ever. Lovely staff, very welcoming. Let me watch the football with my meal on my lap (i hate sitting at tables). Great beer and food and really stunning views.View all reviews by mercy
Car park quiet and safe, not entirely level but who cares.
Meal, two pints, a comfy sofa to watch match and a place to stay for £20. Ideal. Def coming back
This is a superb pub, with real ales and an excellent menu at good prices. Not eating here on this occasion but will be doing next time.View all reviews by g2ews
Landlady and staff are very welcoming and friendly.
As you can see from the photos I have parked at far end of car park, which is unlevel. I have put my levellers on. If you like perfectly straight you may struggle unless you have a two stage levelling system.
