4 nights over Christmas £100. Site was empty but they still gave us a pitch overlooking a building yard that was getting ready for a new holiday cabin. Next to us was a pile of scaffolding. Office closed at Christmas so couldn't contact anyone to arrange a new pitch. Toilets as said previously are a bit tight. Cabin's have firepit's and they were getting used, so we were smoked out. Won't be back.View all reviews by shadowhood
Site and facilities were all OK. The toilet facilties whilst clean, were lacking in areas to leave your toilettries etc. No shower stools etc. That was a bit of a faff. Main concern is that the owners empahsis is on moving away from tourers, and going for the glamping set. Hey ho if that’s where the money is, a shame really as the location is fantastic for the town of Crieff which has a few nice eateries and bespoke shops to tittilate the tourist. A good uphill walk to the town, easy-street heading back to the motorhome.View all reviews by DRW55
The on site warden was rude when we sought help on arriving but the telephone contact more helpful. The site seems focused on lodges and camping pods not tourers. There is no fence between the site and the river.. watch your kids! The toilet block looks clean, heated and modern but the toilet and shower cubicles are narrow and cramped. There seem to be lots of rules about what you can't do. Access to town is up a steep hill. The nearby Crieff Visitor Centre is worth a visit.View all reviews by woledneps
On arrival we needed help from a warden only to be rudely told by btw onsite warden that he was day off and to contact the number listed as an emergency number. The site itself is obviously more geared to lodges and camping pods. Tourers area is cramped, our 7.4m van wouldn't fit on allocated pitch and only just on second pitch. Not child friendly, but site is clean and tidy. Toilet block is heated but toilet and shower cubicles are cramped. Long walk uphill to town centre.View all reviews by woledneps
We spent one night here on 9 Dec 2016. Lovely site by the River Earn. Friendly staff and very clean toilet block with great showers. Despite being just off the main road into Crieff, it was very quiet. Each touring pitch has a water tap and EHU. There's a park and rugby pitch next to the campsite which is perfect for dog walking. The only thing I had a problem with was that I found the bathroom sinks to be set a bit high, as were the mirrors (I'm 5 foot). Also, it's a bit of a trek uphill to main part of Crieff for eating out, if you don't want to take the car. Ok if you're quite fit! Would certainly recommend this site.View all reviews by kathryng
