Lovely stopover. €3 very interesting owner Johan has been collecting stuff from the war since he was a boy. Lovely walks through the woods. lot's of history and memorials about from the war. would definitely recommend.
Carpark looks tight but is ample.

Lovely place to stop - 6 EHU points (old style 2 pin plugs) for 3 euros per night and toilets open all night. Johann who runs the bar has developed an extensive collection of WW1 relics and a museum/memorial to the ANZAC soldiers based in the vicinity. Good hearty food and a decent selection of beers.

We intended to say at Ypres on the free parking by the river but there was signage indicating this was no longer allowed so drove a short way to this free CP outside a restaurant/bar. No facilities except outside tap and use of pub toilets. Owner very welcoming and knowledgeable about the nearby war memorials and museums. A nice stop for the night.
