Our first pub stopover we were not disappointed. Very nice location with a gorgeous thatched roofView all reviews by parryhughes
very friendly owners and excellent food and real ale
secluded parking around the rear of the pub there was slight road noise due to its facility very pleased with our stopover
We would use it again .
Very helpful and friendly staff. We phoned ahead on a Saturday afternoon for a stopover that night and despite being busy they found space for us in the restaurant. Food was excellent and good value for money. The A34 is not far away but the noise is negligible. A good location if you’re out this way and handy for Blenheim Palace or Oxford.View all reviews by Shortap50
Highly recommended stopover. Spent 2 nights here in February; level car park and good access. Staff were courteous, welcoming and friendly. Food delicious and good real ales. Bicester is a very pleasant 5 mike walk or £15 by taxi. A delightful spotView all reviews by RupertD

This is a very convenient pub for travellers coming off south coast ferries and going north west. Literally 2 mins off junction 9 of the M40. Very nice people and excellent meal/wine. No waste or water facilities but we didn’t need on this occasion. Very quiet area, some of the parking screened off from the road. This will be a regular stop for us.View all reviews by annew
Lovely owners we were greeted with " hello neighbours". Flat carpark over looking field with footpath to walk to walk the dog. Food was excellent, great menu choice. (We usually eat and always have a couple of drinks in any pub otherwise we feel it is cheeky to stop over). Just off the A34 so you can hear the traffic, but handy for so many places including Blenheim Palace, just 15 minutes away. Rated facilities 1 because it is a pub and as such doesn't have camp site facilities.View all reviews by themothership
Stayed here on Monday evening on our return journey to Dorset.View all reviews by jen1
New Owners made us very welcome. Stayed and had dinner in the bar/restaurant, the menu had a lovely selection of dishes, something for everyone and at a reasonable price.
Great stopover, close to the M40.
Lovely little pub just off the A34 at Oxfordshire. Great food and the hosts were very welcoming. We weren't charged but did have a meal and a few drinks. Need your own facilities as the pub is locked overnight so loos not available.View all reviews by lisap
