Great position for visiting the beautiful Moustiers and a nice quiet place to spend the night. The payment terminal is a little confusing to use, and only gave us one ticket despite saying it would dispense two. We paid by credit card and it didn’t want a PIN number, which seems odd. Like the previous review, you must select option 1 to stay, insert your card and then select 1 AGAIN to stay or 2 for a jeton.

This is a good although not large aire, but perfect for visiting tge small village across the road. Paying at the machine is a bit of a fiddle! But you get there in the end.
The village is adelight to visit with some nice shops and restaurants and a small market as we.
The chuch up the hill is well worth the visit as is the climb to the top of the hill above it which has a nice circular route to it.
Certainly worth a couple of nights stoppover

Lovely aire below village clinging to hillside. I found the aire machine difficult - put card in and then 12 comes up while numbers of emplacements flash up to - took ages to realise that I had to press 1 if I wanted water/elec. or 2 if I was planning to stay for 24 hours. So simple - like me! Anyway nice level open site. Great views from chapel up the gorge.

Moustiers Sainte Marie is a beautiful village with good restaurants and a few bars,it is also one of the prettiest villages we have visited with a historic center and some great walks from the village through the surrounding countryside. The site is FREE out of season,it is well kept there are grey water and black water facilities available but no fresh water as in March, its on again 1st April. The site is flat and quiet with a fine gravel surface and there is very little noise or light pollution.

Nice aire at the bottom of the hill up to the village - well worth the effort! Cost is now 7.5€ Parking and 2.5€ to use the bourne. Level gravel site. We arrived at about 3pm to take the last place in the main area but there's another parking area below. That too was full by 5pm.

Great place, 8 euros when we were here and was collected 0800 by the gendarmes because the machine wasnt working. The town is the place to go to. Steep walk up the hill but well worth it, market when we were there and night time lights lit up the star between a couple of mountains. Ideal stop if you leave early to get to the Lac de St Croix eastern end for the pedalos
