Great location for an overnight stop. Stunning view of the Loch. As it was December the carpark and pub were very quiet. Lots of walkers in the morning and a group of extreme swimmers! Asked in pub if ok to stay, no problem and didnt feel pressured to go in for a drink. We cooked in the motorhome and then visited the pub for a couple.
Had a lovely walk along the shore of Loch Ness in the morning.

Great spot by the shore of Loch Ness, with outstanding views. We secured a sheltered spot, just beyond the main car park. We thought it only polite to get permission from the pub, but they agreed with no hesitation and we returned the favour by buying a few drinks. Main car park was busy with lots of other overnight campers. Toilets open from 10am until pub close, accessible from outside without going through the pub. Didn't catch sight of Steve the Nessie hunter!

As said below, great location, only room for five vans on the shore front. Some parking behind, if not another car park just over the road. Very busy pub on the Saturday night we stayed was not able to get a table in the restaurant, so cooked in the van with the great view behind.

Ditto to previous great reviews. Parked in the lochside. No sign of Steve the Nessie hunter unfortunately. Had drinks in the pub and lovely staff. Had breakfast at a picnic table looking out at Loch Ness. Loved it. (Toilet opens at 10am).

Great location with fantastic view down the loch. Busy daytime, quietning in the evening. Friendly pub serving nice beers etc, food a little sub standard.
Asked in bar if ok to park and told yes no problem and dont feel obliged to use the pub. I think that’s because the big parking area next to it is council owned.
All in All a great place to stay.

We stayed in June 2018. Great location, lovely car park with space for several motorbikes. Probably not suitable for caravans! Good food and welcoming staff. Although busy in the day after we parked, it was a great atmosphere with adults and children enjoying the beach to the rear where you find Loch Ness and also Steve the full time nessie hunter... he has some great handmade 'nessies' to buy. Going into the evening it quietened a lot and became peaceful. Do ring ahead to book.

Great pub stop at the only pub on the banks of iconic Loch Ness. Car park was busy at 6pm Saturday but we were lucky to get a space down the end. Pub is lovely, great service, nice food. You’d be fine just buying a pint. Quiet overnight. Highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of staying at this great location, right on the shore of Loch Ness. Although the weather was awful, the warm welcome we received from the owner, staff & regulars meant we had a great night. We bought drinks only, whereas another couple ate. We also met Steve, the nessiehunter who also lives in the car park. To correct an earlier review, the pub owner owns both car parks, as well as the beach area. So, be fair! Introduce yourselves & maybe buy a drink or 2!

What a cracking stop over metres from Loch Ness shore with a pub on site which allows the use of their toilets if you put some business they're way. Busy by day but silence by night with fantastic views, walks and scenery.

Perfect spot in the car park of the inn, right on the edge of the loch. We were so lucky with the weather, and dinner in the pub was lovely.

Great location on the edge of Loch Ness. You can wake up early and look for Nessie with your binoculars. We didn't see the monster, which was a shame, but it's a good place to stay overnight. We had drinks at the pub, and the staff were very friendly. Good phone signal. No facilities.

Fantastic view of the loch. The best part of this location. As it was sunny, a very busy night at the pub. Had to order food & drinks from the bar which slowed everything down. Food pretty ho-hum especially for the money. 9.95 for a vege burger & chips which was truly lacking.

Busy little car par next to Lochness, quiet at night. As a correction to earlier reviews, the larger car park beyond the pub car park does not belong to the Dores Inn & so you are free to park with no obligation to the pub.

Free stop if you eat or drink in the pub. We parked right on the loch next to the nessie hunters van. No facilities onsite so you neex to be self sufficient.
Staff are friendly and the food was great and the pub is dog friendly.
