They have a 35 pitch aire also but that was closed in the 3rd week of June! Miserable and rude campsite receptionist, but he seemed the only one there and so probably run off his feet. We drove up hill and down dale but couldn't see a decent pitch and we're only a 6m campervan, so we moved on and found somewhere 5km along the lake at half the price. There are far better places to stay.View all reviews by elnido
This is a nice if not very hilly terraced site. I had to drive up & down a couple of times to fine a semi leval pitch. There is an aire on site as well but due to planning restrictions it is time restrictive!View all reviews by carpetbagger
The site itself is ok with a small shop, takeaway and restaurant onsite.
It’s main pull is the location to the lake and facilities there.
A WORD OF WARNING: While I was there (and near the top) an afternoon breeze came on most days, so don’t go out leaving your awning out. The motorhome next to me had there’s blown over the top of their motorhome. I was in mine and only just caught it with help otherwise I would have lost mine as well!!
Stayed her for two nights after visiting the Gorges of Verdon and Route de Crêtes. Both of which were incredible. The site is in walking access of Lac de St Croix. Beautiful views if you get the right pitch. The site is a little “tired” but it’s the location that sells it. Cheap enough at less than 18€ a night with electric hook up (June stay). You need your levelling ramps on most pitches. Showers were fine. We would visit again for the location alone.View all reviews by nigeljen
Arrived first week in August French holidays, told minimum 5 day stay but has aire at front of campsite €10 a night. Can only enter from 3pm onwards and must leave each day by 11am. Pay at campsite reception and they open barrier. Feels like you're part of campsite. Tape dod not work so short walk to campsite shower block for water ;-)View all reviews by woz5922
Aire got busy by 9pm. Campsite rugged, terraced with shady areas. Amenities good. Lake is 5 mins walk and amazing. Much needed swim as 40c stay.
