Senior couple motorhome over 8m
As others have said great site all you knew really. Very friendly and helpful lady in reception on tarmac so nice and clean in the motorhome. Good cycling along the prom signs to say no cycling but loads were. Beach not great when we were there major works going on. Really big Saturday Market. Found the showers hit and miss could not control them boiling hot then cold. We were there Saturday and Sunday so no aircraft noise but started Monday morning as we left. 14.90 euros a night with electricity. Would use again recommend.

Stayed here again on the gravel part of the Aire, park where you like with all services except EHU which is available if there is room at the top of the site with an extra charge, without EHU €7.90 per night.

Excelent camper stop with excelent facalities all very clean, pitchs are ample size, staff very friendly and the whole site is clearly well kept. There is plenty of walking and cycling in the area and a choice of supermarkets within walking distance, the bar and restraunt are superb, the only downside to this site is the day time flying from the Airforce base, at nightits very quiet. Highley recomended.

Third visit here for us, usually keep extending as everything is so easy from here. Yes the planes are a little noisy but they don't bother us. The beach is a little messy at the moment following September 19's storms and flooding - they had it bad here - but life goes on they do a good job of recovery.

A well run, tarmac area with defined spaces, clean sanitary facilities, washing up sinks & a washing machine & dryer room. Secure gate locked at night. 10 min walk to a (not very nice) beach but cafes & bars on promenade look good. The beach area looks like a work in progress & likely to be smartened up.
Excellent food at on-site restaurant. But for us only suitable for one night stop-over as an expensive (€15 in Oct) tarmac ‘car park’.

Return visit here after a stopover last year. Stayed a week this time. Aire very clean & tidy. Reception staff (especially Isabel) are very helpful. 10 minutes walk to the beach. 20 minutes into the centre of town. Large market on Saturdays near Dia supermarket 10 minutes away. Onsite restaurant food is a little pricey but is of excellent quality.

Still £€7.90 without EHU on the gravel area, we prefer it on here as you can park as you wish not regimented as on the tarmac area. Showers and WC’s on this area are now fully working and really good. The staff are very helpful and the area is great for a visit to the big saturday market.

Very welcoming aire. €11.90 per night including electric. Free wifi next to reception or pay for on pitch wifi. Hardstanding in main area. Good toilet/shower facilities. Some aircraft noise from adjacent airport but understand new airport due to open soon so commercial flights will move to there. Supermarket 10 minutes walk one way, Mar Menor 10 minutes the other. On site bar/restaurant very good and used by both locals & aire residents. Only issue was with mossies- really bad here in October.

This is a nice, safe and secure site, well laid out with flat tarmac plots, excellent servicing facilities and a very nice onsite bar and restaurant. Very busy in February (we napped the last plot), but they also have a large overspill gravelled area with some EHUs. Good value, located in a residential area. Helpful staff. Will come back again.

Our second visit and each time we have used the new area not the tarmac area, all the services are still available and two small shower blocks ( portacabins) have been put up this year on the new area, cost without EHU is €7.50. Close to the beach and walking distance to the old town. There is a large outdoor market every Saturday.

We were only going to stay here 1 night but stayed 3. Cheaper the longer you stay.
Good sized pitches. Very good toilets and showers. Bread van every day at 09.00. The day we arrived the Spanish Airforce were out training and playing around so a lot of aircraft noise. But nothing for the next few days except for Ryan air and EasyJet comings and goings. Will return as a stop off point due to good price but not much else around.

What a find! We were only going to stay couple of nights to visit someone in the area. Ended up staying 5 and only moved on because of other commitments. Well spaced out pitches. excellent facilities. Bread van every day at 09.00. Cheaper the longer you stay. There is aircraft noise, some very noisy, you're only about 500mtrs from the runway, but after a while it just blends in. Will deffo return.

We arrived in Jan 2017 and the place was full. We parked outside the perimeter fence on an area of land owned by the site. They charged us €7.90 as opposed to €11.90 inside. €3 for electricity but obviously not outside the perimeter. Large washing machines were very good value at €3. The pitches inside the site were nice and large and there were two toilet block. Unfortunately the showers were cold, maybe due to the number of people using them. There were a lot of vans outside the perimeter paying the €7.90 fee.
The site is under development with wagon load of hardcore and gravel to extend it. It will be a while before it's ready as more shower blocks will need to be built to cater for the extra number of campers. As there are not many aires in this area it's a very popular spot.

Stayed here two weeks in December, great facilities two shower and toilet blocks, washing up and washers €3, dryers €3. Wide pitches enough to accommodate an awning, vary in length from 8m/9m/10m. Cheapest €11.90 each day for the first three nights, then drops to €7.90 per day; dearest €12.90, dropping to €8.90 after 3 days. Power is €3 a day. Free WiFi near the reception but cheap daily/weekly/monthly rate via private service e.g.€12 a month (no limit) Restaurant on site. Beach, supermarket, street market on a Saturday all within 300m. Relaxed atmosphere and yes there is some aircraft noise as you are near the military airport, but you are treated to free airshows by the 'Eagle Patrol' (Spanish Red Arrows)

This stop is perfect the pitches are all on tarmac and are a good size. Shops 5 minutes walk away and the seafront with it's bars and beautiful sandy beaches is only a stroll down the road.

This site was started as a result of pressure from the locals who were sick and tired of wild campers turning up and clogging the streets. She site itself is situated on site of the old market and is basically a large tarmac area but with quite generous bays. The showers and toilets when we visited (we have been twice) were in great condition, but if the site is full, I am not sure if they are large enough. There is also access to washing machines for a small charge, and a restaurant / bar on the entrance owned by the same bloke. WIFI can be accessed from there if you have decent equipment of from the sites reception, but don't expect great speeds. There is noise from the airport which could bother you as they take off and land directly over your head and are really low.
The area around this site is great for cycling and the promenade goes on and on - we really like it.

Los Alcazares is an interesting place with great biking along the Mar Menor. The locals are very friendly with English spoken in most bars and restaurants. All in all, a great site, and if you have bikes, the town is a great place to explore. We have a Facebook page that records our travels - if you search for Betty Bolero and like the page, you can scroll down to find photos and write ups for both times we visited this area if you fancy taking a look.
