We really enjoyed our stay here outside school holidays and with good weather. Could be a bit nippy in colder weather and if full the facilities would be well used.
Loads of warm water and very nice shower rooms, warm welcome and really good instructions on how to access the site.
25 mins walk into RHBay village, quite hsrd going back up but you’ll get fit!

Stunning location overlooking the sea and Robin Hoods Bay. Very rural with the last mile or so on approach a single track road with only a few passing spaces. Facilities are clean and sufficient in a rustic kind of way, more than adequate though.
You are exposed to the elements though with it being a cliff top location.

The position of this site is lovely, right on the cliff tops overlooking Robin Hoods Bay. Unfortunately, when we stayed the weather was terrible and we had an icy wind blowing off the sea and rain (Easter 2018). I would imagine it's lovely there when the weather is good. Short walk into Robin Hood's Bay. Facilities are basic but adequate. Good position to walk into Whitby or Ravenscar on the coastal path or Cinder trail. We got the bus into Whitby & back from end of the lane due to bad weather.

Lovely rural campsite with amazing view over Robin Hoods Bay. We managed to stay on a beautiful weekend with good weather however it is very exposed, hence the amazing view. Narrow lane down to site with few passing places. Toilets and showers warm and clean. Owners helpful and friendly. Ten minute walk down to Robin Hoods Bay but last bit walking back is steep, again, why you have the view. If you visit, walk the coastal path to Whitby. Takes a couple of hours but is breathtakingly beautiful. Have fish and chips then get the bus back. Would we stay again, definitely.
