This was to be an over night stop that turned into a 2 day stay.View all reviews by JohnIsabelle
It's now 14€ per night + 50 cents per Kilowatt/hour, for electricity but still worth it because everything else is included and at 3€10 for a Pint, the evenings were pleasant too.
Lovely Alpine views, walks &etc. but beware, we were tempted to stay much longer.
We managed to drag ourselves away and headed for Austria, about 65 Km away.
A good site for an overnight stop with clean facilities. The price includes showers, water and disposal. Be aware that the light in the changing room shower is on a timer and it is very dark when it goes out and you are still in the shower! Close to the main road and not far from the railway line, but you'd struggle to hear any noise at all.View all reviews by lynnspain
Great place to stop....short cycle ride to lake....good views....quiet....and a washing mashine...Meile at that...4 Euros...elec 1.5 Euro on top of the 12 Euro...tax free for one night, there on in 1 Euro per person. Allocated for 20 vans but staff will try to accommodate in extra parking. Pennymark supermarket at end of road. Hot showers!! On arrival they give you a visitors card that entitles you to discounts at various local places. We saved money on entrance to Herrenchiemsee, not the boat across. It also entitles you to free bus travel around the lake. Should you choose to cycle and get tired....its 55km round...you can get a bus back..paying 2Euros to take your bike. Plenty of places to run too. Staff are very helpful. Best of all...met the owners of this web page!. 9 for location as on the lake would be nice...but cost would be double.View all reviews by rolandladley
