White House Farm Misterton, Phil the owner has just revamped the hard standings, there is a play field for the children as big as a football pitch along with swings, slides, climbing frame and a zip wire. The site is mostly level, there is also a small fishing pond, Misterton co-op, The Red Hart pub, Misterton chippy (award winning ) all 8 minutes walk, there is also a walk along the Chesterfield canal to The Waterside pub at West Stockwith. Gainsborough is about 20 minutes away.

Massive level field with the lawn-quality grass cut within an inch of its life. Brilliant cheap Chinese takeaway close by, easy walk to West Stockwith with its brilliant brew pub The White Hart: gorgeous food and cheap too. The local, The Red Hart, is a good pub too, 3 good real ales. Paid a tenner a night, electric three more. Ultra friendly owner: he took me to the pub to join his quiz team. Looking forward to returning.
