Open from Jan to Dec

Deepdale Camping is a quiet friendly campsite located by the sea in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside. There are 85 pitches suitable for tents, campervans, motorhomes & trailer tents (sorry no caravans), set in 6 well-maintained grassy paddocks.
Since we took back the running of Deepdale Backpackers & Camping in October 2016, we've invested in fantastic newly built facilities, including 16amp electric hook-up connections, chemical toilet disposal points, fully serviced hard standing pitches, and underfloor heated toilet & shower blocks, together with lots of landscaping including enhanced hedging, trees and landscaping for the paddocks.
The campsite is open all year round, and the great crew in our Visitor Information Centre are there to help with every aspect of your stay with us; from enquiries and bookings, to welcoming you on arrival, helping answer any queries you may have, and providing you with helpful and knowledgeable advice on the local area to help you decide what to see and do during your stay. We have a well-stocked camping shop for essentials you might need, and a range of replacement gas bottles should you run out.
There is Free Wifi on site to help you remain connected to the wider world should you wish, together with mobile device charging facilities, laundry and drying and modern toilets and showers, all powered by 100% renewables-generated electricity.
Prices start at £8 per night.
See website for prices throughout the year.

Spent the weekend here as Storm Dennis hit over the Saturday night. Several different types of pitch, we picked the fully serviced pitched. Hard standing with its own drainage water and ehu.The water is and interesting pump from well but works fine and easy. Pitches are extremely flat, ours on gravel but the grass pitches are short and hard. Our outfit is a 8.6 tag and we got on with no problems. Toilets and all the facilities are great on this very well kept site. Friendly and helpfull staf

Came her December and so impressed revisited February. Grass pitches that are very firm. No issues to park/walk on. Heated toilet shower blocks. Staff are a pleasure and very helpful. Fab walks along salt marshes or over common. Brilliant for wildlife. £14 a night out of season. If I could give it 11 out of ten I would. We'll done ????

Excellent. Got up one Sunday morning at home and was browsing ‘Search for Sites’. Looked at reviews then clicked through to Deepdale’s website to discover they had live music on that night. Since they’re only about 45 minutes drive from home decided to give it a go. Brilliant. £14 for an almost level (quick levelling ramps job) grass pitch with electric. Lovely showers and toilet blocks, free. Couple of hundred yards to excellent dog walking on the Norfolk saltmarshes - big skies! Oh, and the £14 included the admission fee to the music gig! Intimate little room, small audience. Emma O’Riley, lovely little Irish singer/songwriter. Few bottles of local beer. Perfect.

Great little campsite. Got a 8m motorhome & was only charged £20. Dont know why others were charged more. Lovely hot showers & warm changing area. Great T.V signal & free WiFi which is really good. Good sized pitches, shop & 2 excellent pubs within 5 mins walk.
Excellent all round.

Sloping pitches depending on pitch location. However the staff were welcoming and helpful, with lots of tourist information and there is a strict quiet at 10 pm rule. There is a small but well-stocked supermarket next door, along with a cafe and other shops, pub 5 mins walk away. The Coast road bus stops outside and the Norfolk Coast Path is nearby. We booked for 2 nights but ended up staying 4 as we found it so convenient. Lovely views across rolling farmland.

Slightly dissapointed with this site. The pitches are grass and mainly sloping. The jumbo pitches are around the size of a standard club pitch but we thought expensive at £30. The top field with fully serviced are £40. Having said that the facilities are very modern and good. Friendly reception but not for us and we moved on to a nearby CL.

So glad i found this lovely site on search for sites.
Couldnt have asked for a warmer friendlier welcome even though they were busy getting ready for a festival.
Facitilities were excellent. Lovely walks from the site and had we been able to stay fir mire than one night i am sure we would have taken advantage of the cafe, shops and bus service.
Would certainly go back if ever im in the area again.

Paid £14 pn inclusive of electric and wifi, which was excellent although site not busy. Staff really enthusiastic and helpfull, as were the cafe and supermarket.
An abundance of wildlife even when driving down the local roads, including patridge, deer, hares and a barn owl that flew by the side of us! Seems it accompanies the local bus too.
Facilities as other reviews and will definately return

Spent 1 night here- in Jan, £14 a night/ small camper van. Upper showers open, large great wet room with shower, sink and toilet. 4 at end have hair dryers. Great as it was quiet but must have queues for the toilet at busy times. Has 2 other toilet/shower blocks(closed when we were there) Pitches aren’t large. Great walks near by and 2 pubs. The White Horse very nice but dishes are expensive for what you get. Good site. Can see it being busy in the summer. Can get costal bus. Staff very friendly. Garage and shop next door. We teally enjoyed our trip along the North Norfolk coast.

Second visit, one of the best UK sites I've visited. Showers superb, including dog wash facilities with warm water! Really friendly and helpful, ideally situated on coast, with bus stop and dog friendly pubs on doorstep. Just a thought - owner's write up talks of "small motorhomes". Don't let that put you off, large pitches available for the lengthy...

Excellent site with really warm, welcoming reception staff. Great location for the coastal path or the Coastal Hopper bus. Warm, clean and very modern shower blocks. Disabled friendly. Spacious if as yet youthful individual pitches. Two pubs within easy walking distance. Deepdale Cafe for food is good, and the medium sized supermarket sells all the basics. Would return again with pleasure. Such a beautiful coastline.

What a fantastic site - position is ideal for the North coast of Norfolk - plenty of coastal walking from the site. Staff are amazingly helpful - the new shower / toilet block is brilliant ( you get your own 'wet room' and toilet ) - and the price is very very good - would definitely recommend anyone to go here and we would love to go back again.

We have stayed at this site a couple of times, out of season. The campsite is in a brilliant location for exploring the North Norfolk coast, and the cost path is a short walk away.

The site itself is all-grass and nicely laid out in small paddocks, with nice views across the countryside. Right next door is the Deepdale cafe, which offers delicious food at very reasonable prices. There are some great beaches within a short drive, along with the lovely town of Burnham Market.

The campsite is adding EHUs and new shower blocks for this year, which will make this friendly, well-run site an even more attractive place to stay.

Loved this spot - friendly staff, dogs welcome, clean shower blocks, great walks all around. Beaches not too far away. Nearby cafe which was great for breakfast. Open all year. When we were here there was only one other MH in the other field.
