Narrow entrance with tight turn into rear carpark which might be unsuitable for vehicles over 7m and watch out for overhanging branches. Note: All parking spaces fill up quickly during evenings.View all reviews by Wildfreedom
During opening hours had other vehicles parked very close all around us which left after closing time. We were the only vehicle staying overnight. View surrounded by residential housing & gardens behind a large, high, perimeter wall. Felt very safe. A quiet night.
Nice, cosy, traditional pub interior with a staggering choice of Ciders available. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Tap located behind locked gate to kitchens, but happily unlocked on request during opening hours. Toilets inside Pub.
Lovely stopover near to the avon and kennett canal. Food was niceView all reviews by jdarknell
Very quiet part of the village; we were looking forward to a peaceful night after a couple of noisy ones. It was the nicest of the pubs we had been in this week. The evening meal was very good, tasty and a good quantity. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The only problem is Friday morning is "Breakfast Club" and the staff turned up a six, car radios blaring, doors slamming but notwithstanding we would go again. There is no view from the car park front or rear. We were the only camper.View all reviews by richard877
