I will not repeat what others have commented on but will retention the steep slope into theView all reviews by petfen
site as we hit our tow bar on entering the field .Luckily we didn't have the bike carrier attached so be aware. Also a lot of the roads to and away from site are single track .The site is flat and a mixture of grass and hard standing its £5.00 per person and £3.50 for ehu.some of the comments are misleading re the price.Great place to visit the waterfalls but a hard slog iff you walk all the way from the campsite as we did.
Wonderful site. Bar staff very friendly Lovely menu and good value. Site was £5 per night. No showers and the Toilet was in the pub. Ladies had to use the pub gents toilet after hours which some may not like. Otherwise very good value and would recommend.View all reviews by seanhawser
What a great little site. A very informal campsite where we spent 2 wonderful nights. Great hosts at the pub, food & beer excellent, great scenery and enjoyable walks from the site. Basic facilities, water, EHU and a toilet in the pub which can be used when the pub is closed.View all reviews by richb600
Feb 2019. New electric hook-ups installed (4 I think). Helpful and friendly welcome. good field, quiet site. Altogether pleasant.View all reviews by Calculus
Sadly pub closed on Monday/Tuesday, but loos accessible.
Just to endorse the recent reviews, this is a basic site in a large field with a very friendly welcome at the pub. Good basic pub food, not 'gastro' but well presented and served with a smile. There is a short steep steep slope into the field but we managed fine with our 7m MH. You can overnight in the village car park otherwise. We met the owner who said he is aiming to develop the hard standing further with EHU but this may not be anytime soon. Great walks walks. Will return. £4pppnView all reviews by number14
Stayed overnight in the pub car park, we did not ring ahead as it was midweek and pretty quiet. Very friendly staff and a wide selection of good meals available. The campsite is up a steep incline and is just a basic field. We opted to stay in the car park for free but we did eat and drink in the pub. Great area for walks and just relaxing. Just one water tap outside rear of pub and no ehu.View all reviews by wokewy
Under new management since the last reviews on here. Called ahead to see if they still allowed motorhomes. Very friendly on the phone and didn't need to book. It's very basic with limited hard standing(4 motorhomes would fill the hard standing) plenty of grassed area but was to boggy this time of year. Just the one water tap next to the pub so fill up before you get there. Pub toilet open 24hr for the campers. Great food and real fire. Perfect location for the waterfall walks. Highly recommendedView all reviews by dolph587
We were going to stay there last W/E but half the camping field is dug up at the moment to make a farm building a bunkhouse perhaps?View all reviews by spongemum
It was crowded too and not for us so did not stay.
We had intended to stay overnight herein February half term 2017. However the pub was CLOSED and a huge banner proclaimed UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT.View all reviews by cjbarnard
You may want to give them a call and see if the new owners are happy to receive motorhomes.

Been here several times and always get a great welcome. Food and beer is fantastic. Campsite is just a field and the pub hope to have the washing facilities finished soon. The leave the pub loos open for you all night so you cant really ask for more.View all reviews by mw0jze
£5 pppn, (gents) toilet open 24 hours for use by all, ladies open during pub open hours. No EHU. Good food, open fire, lovely landlady. Fantastic walks to the waterfalls. Not required to eat/drink in the pub, but recommended if you don't fancy cooking! Stayed twice in 2016 & will definitely go back in 2017, when hopefully the bunkhouse will be open.View all reviews by kajj
