We spent the last night in Howth when we got there it was heaving we managed to find a space in the car park by the public toilets/pier. Spoke to a local council worker who said once it got emptying out we could park in any car park overnight and for free. We eventually moved round to the harbour about 7ish and there were loads of bays and a few vans. Had a lovely sleep. Seems then you can park anywhere in Howth. What a lovely little town.View all reviews by grandmagill

Third stop here, always room. This year was very busy due to weather. We get the Dart into dublin for the day, then come back for a nice evening strole around the pubs of howth. Before catching ferry home.View all reviews by wicketts

We parked down on the harbour, opposite the yacht club as the car park the coordinates direct to seemed very small. The first night was fine but after the second night we had a notice on our windscreen telling us we need to move on as we didn't fit in the space. Our van is under 6m so bigger vans would have no chance. It was a lovely place though and the fish and chips was the best we'd ever had.View all reviews by alimik

A great place for a stopover. Can't really miss where to park campervans as it's the only place without height barriers. Could take at least 20 vans. Busy with working boats nearby during the day, always something to watch, but I would think mainly used by people visiting Dublin. Dart station nearby but bus option also available. Lots of shops and restaurants within 200 yards, same for Dart. Had fantastic fish and chips last night. No facilities so bring empty cassette and full water if you're looking to stay a few days. This is a large commercial harbour unlike many of the small harbours dotted around Ireland, so do expect some day time noise, but quiet at night. Well lit and with CCTV, feels very safe.View all reviews by geoslyne

We arrived Sunday afternoon but the place was heaving - tip, weekends could be very busy due to the popularity of Howrh - but did not locate the parking, so drove on to Malahide.View all reviews by kevanlinda
Came back early this morning, trying to use cordinates given, but neither of our satnavs were happy with them. As the place was quiet, it was fairly easy to locate the moho parking - through the parking to the end of the harbour wall. The cordinates given by our Garmin - N 53`23.380 W 006`04.137'
The parking can take many mohos and you have a pleasant view over the harbour. In the town is a station for the Dart.

A handy spot although can be noisy overnight with trawlers coming and going. Also very exposed to any gales. Handy for bus and Dart into Dublin city centre.View all reviews by chrisdoe
