As other reviews have stated, sloping parking on tarmac or grass, given the small size of the tarmac car park motorhomes are preferred on the grass. Very welcoming, I was treated as sn old friend throughout my visit. Excellent, reasonably priced food from breakfast at 9am to 9pm at night. Relatively quiet overnight with occasional traffic noise, but no disturbances.View all reviews by dgallagh
Now we didn’t stay here in our Moho but we did eat .. reason being is it’s in the next village to us. So actually now we plan or staying so no taxi or lift required!!!View all reviews by Linmar2
Would recommend booking as it gets busy. So you can feel a little squished in at pesk times. Great food, good value, good service. We stayed for Sunday lunch but have been for drinks also. They also do breakfasts. Fab Yorkshire mahoosive Puddings. Eton Mess was good. Cater for allergies too. Real ale. Nice beer garden. Take a walk over the road into the church it will be open - tiny. Very historical site both pub & church The Battle of Towton - War of the Roses.
There was a moho parked up in the top corner. Cabt wait!
Middle aged couple in 7.9 metre motorhome. We stayed here overnight enroute to Barrdon Mill from Kent. We parked in the overflow car park which is a bumpy field through the main car park, but managed to find a level-ish spot so we didn't need to use ramps. We had a meal in the pub and WOW the food was amazing. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the pub and the waiting staff were excellent. We had a great nights sleep as it was perfectly quiet. Definitely stay here if you're passingView all reviews by carolw0403
Lovely food - especially if you like giant homemade yorshire puddings! Parking is on grass, needed blocks to get level. No facilities outside of pub. Nice, quiet countryside location. Good night’s sleep!View all reviews by strinesian
Large motorhome, 8.5 mtrs. Visited on a Thursday evening and have to say that we were blown away by the food and the warm and friendly staff. We popped in to check it was OK to stay overnight and were greeted as soon as we walked in. We were advised to book a table if we wanted to eat, glad we did as the place was full of diners at 7:30! We didn't have to wait for a table or our food which was one of the best meals we have paid for. Andy and the girls are doing a fantastic job and we will definitely be back. The pitch was on grass and a bit of a slope but it was not an issue. They also opened at 9 the next morning for breakfast.View all reviews by Amanda2051
Very busy at 630 on a Friday when we arrived but we had booked a table. Car park was full so parked on the overflow field which was very muddy. Food was excellent best chips I've ever had!!!View all reviews by ben9090
Our very first Britstop. Arrived same night as Mini Club rally so site fairly full though it was lovely to see all those iconic motorcars. Had to park on sloping grass which was a bit long hence a bit slippy but very warm welcome and food was excellent. They also serve cooked breakfast from 9am which is good but we wanted to get off on our journey so gave it a miss this time. Easy to find location and soon back on our travels northwards.View all reviews by berma
