We arrived out if season and at 7pm but were still met with a friendly face. This is a gem of a site Especially for £14 per night. The views from the top field are amazing and the sunsets beautiful. Not much around in walking distance but we only used it as a stop over. Toilet facilities better than expected for a working farm site. Would use again for sure.View all reviews by DextersDad
This is the second review on this site for the same visit. The first review was written on Friday morning before the field was invaded with tents/cars. People were putting tents up and then sitting in a big space at the side saving places for their friends. Gradually our beautiful view of the bay disappeared. We were going to stay until Sunday but decided to leave on Saturday morning instead. Note to self... dont go on a weekend in the school holidays!View all reviews by syd388
A good site. No EHU available as those sites all booked up but plenty of room in the camping field. We just turned up, booked in and found a spot at the top of the field which was more level although this did make it a bit of a walk to the showers/toilets. For £14 per night in high season you cant complain. No extras for awning, dogs etc. Views are spectacular across Morecambe Bay. Well worth a visit.View all reviews by syd388

This is our second visit on writing this review and we will be making regular visits as it's one of our favourite spots.
There are two large fields on a hill giving excellent
views of morcambe bay and the lakes, it has all the expected facilities including toilet and shower rooms, waste disposal ect...(3 minute walk from pitches) the site has a fantastic on-site cafe that does excellent food with its lamb speciality , and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The prices are very good value for money considering what you get which is the difference in making us coming back again and again. the area is fantastic for cycling along the coast road
A friendly welcome, despite not having pre-booked.View all reviews by bluuuz
The campsite is situated on a hill overlooking Morecambe Bay and provides stunning views (and sunsets) looking over to the Lakeland Fells.
Toilet block is a bit of a stroll from the camping fields but really well maintained.
We only tried the coffee in the cafe on site but that was fine and there’s a lovely little pets corner with pigs, goats, duck and the biggest bunnies you are ever likely to see!
Field does slope a bit but if you get up to the top, you can get away with a couple of chocks on the downward side to make for an almost level experience with stunning views.
Views over the bay, lots of walks/cycle not only along the coast & the Lancaster canal. Great pubs/bar snacks nearby as well as supermarkets in Carnforth & Morecambe. Very friendly & helpul staff & the grass is mown short, sloping & no hard standing but such a great place to stay. No hike up in price for Bank Holl’s, high season & no extra for dogs, awnings, car or showers.View all reviews by anitatilly
VERY close to Morecambe bay so plenty of opportunity for strolls.View all reviews by bigflyer
They have two fields, the big lower one is generally used by tents and is sloping. The upper one is flatter, but smaller and generally used by caravans & motorhomes. They don't seem to have marked pitches unless you have EHU, so turning up after dark was a bit of a challenge to find somewhere to park up.
The cafe was nice, but they didn't do a good full breakfast, which was a bit odd, but their sausage butty was nice
Easy to find. Great location. Toilets and shower blocks very clean and tidy. Good restaurant on site for breakfast and lunches, but restaurant closed Mondays. Lovely beach walks, especially at low tide. Handy for Morecambe. Would I visit again, definitely yes.View all reviews by mwharton51
Easy to get to private site with basic facilities which cater for families in one field and a quieter more serene field next to the sea. As they are fields, it may be worth taking the levellers, for those who like comfort, but for wild campers, levelling is not that bad. WiFi available on sites on 4 channels depending on your pitch. Active Facebook page for latest info. Staff friendly. Only a few minutes to Morecambe. Only noise is from small trains passing nearby. Most are quiet diesels, so no big deal but worth mentioning. On my favourites list.View all reviews by dzippy
