Post covid visit and all facilities except the bar are open. Drinks are available from the restaurant. Checkin including payment is done online and you receive an email with your pitch number. Then simply turn up and pitch. Superb views from all the pitches and loads of wildlife flying around.

This is a great location for visiting Holy Island. The Barn is a nice site for motorhomes & camping. They are putting in new hardstanding pitches all with EHU.
Holy Island is a short drive away or cycling about 15min. Not everthing there is open during the week just weekends so choise your timing when to go.
The onsite restaurant offers a good selection of food, but closes early (16.15) during the winter time.
The family wetrooms are good and clean with constant hot water.

Great facilities & view across fields to Holy Island amazing. Very quiet. Price for our 6mtr moho with ehu was £25. I think £15 might be for tents. We would return though.

What a great site! Brilliant location between the A1 and the causeway to Lindisfarne Holy Island, easy access and great views. Clean site with great facilities - drive over grey waste, elsan, fresh water and EHU plus heated shower and toilet block, lovely and warm even in October. £25 for the night. Delicious food and cakes in the restaurant/cafe and friendly helpful staff. Bar open on certain nights, check website for times. Highly recommend, will be back.

Loved this site. Easy to get to, well maintained & perfectly situated for a visit to Holy Island as the site is practically at the entrance to the causeway. Lovely views over to the island. Facilities were modern & clean. Dog friendly including in the bar area where we had an evening meal, the food was lovely. Small play area for young children, cafe/restaurant on site too.

I phoned to book. There are now only pitches with hook up at £25 pn. Sad to say, I didn't visit, as too expensive. I had fill in the star rating to enter this reveiw so I have put max for all and let others decide on value for money.

Stayed for one night in May to visit Lindisfarne, about as close as you can get to the causeway.
A bit pricey but location is perfect, nice clean facilities and level hard standing pitches.

Ideally situated for and overlooking Holy Island. The washrooms/toilets facilities are good and very clean. All the usual facilities including drive over grey water disposal point. Peaceful site but think pitches 1-4 at the top end of the site which are adjacent to a working farm, may be noisy early in the morning. Breakfast in the cafe is highly recommended. The staff are very polite and friendly.
Overall an excellent site which we will revisit.

Mixed camping and caravan site. Caravan pitches on level concrete hardstanding around sloping gravelled area. On site showers "preferred use of tenters" but at £25 p.n. made use of them. Only one washingup sink which made for queues. Only ladies toilets are in combined shower area so if showers being used no toilets available. Pitches have view of the coast and/or Holy Island. Foot/cycle path to causeway to Holy Island. Bar on site only open weekends, restaurant on site busy & longer opening.

A campsite on the road to Holy Island with great views caters for motorhomes, caravans and tents. There are two ladies toilets and two men's toilets which adjoin shower units. The signage prefers that these facilities were primarily for the use of tenters. There are also more showers in a central area. The cost per motorhome is £25 per night, for this price I would expect other facilities. However the restaurant staff are beyond the normal, friendly and attentive. A popular place to eat with different offerings to your normal meal.

Ideal position for Holy Island. Good facilities, pitches are very exposed to prevailing winds.

We stayed here for two nights in order to visit Holy Island, a fantastic spot to do it from too!
£20 per mobile unit per night, no additional charge for our two small dogs, nice grass area at the side of the level concrete vehicle pitch, had it been sunny and warm I can imagine it would be lovely to sit outside and look towards Holy Island which was approx 2-3 km away, I think this was the last inhabited place before the causeway. The toilets and showers looked almost brand new and were spotlessly clean, they do have a sign that suggests that they are there principally for tent campers rather than mobile/caravan campers, as it was not that busy we availed ourselves of the facilities, it does appear to have a mixed shower unit for ladies and gents but the two are separated by internal doors. Whilst the showers are extremely warm they have this irritating self turn off system every 30 seconds or so so you have to keep pressing the button to continue your shower.

There is a coffee shop, restaurant and bar on site which have variable opening hours during the week, we used the coffee bar shortly before it closed at 5pm after visiting Holy Island, they also served beer so we had a couple before going back to our van. Had we been there when the restaurant was open we would have used it, the whole set up was very nice, tidy and clean.

Upon visiting Holy Island we did all the usual things around the castle, priory, beach and harbour. We also visited one of the several pubs on the island, we chose the Ship Inn. The beer was lovely, a couple of pints of 'Blessed Bitter'
