Great cliff top site, went on gravel hard standing, you do need ramps for a motorhome or campervan. Short walk out of site to access beach. Toilets/showers are very nice. Small shop down the road and bus stop for the coasthopper to Cromer. Great to hear the roar of the sea at night. Has cctv and far enough away from road noise. Staff nice. Would stay again for sure.View all reviews by AdyP
As previous re levelling blocks, sloping pitches, hard and grass, no tv reception unless you purchase tv cable which you can plug in to the ehu post.View all reviews by darenbranch
Beach about 10 minute walk down a sloping path , only one access from campsite
Beach lovely and sandy and dog friendly , nice walk into mundesley
Wardens very friendly , you arrive pick your pitch, set up and the warden rocks up to give you all the info and collect your pitch fee
Lovely panoramic views from the site
Showers and toilets immaculate
Spotless site and shower block. Even dog a washing area. Amazing views from the cliff top, dog friendly beach.View all reviews by franklast
Arrived and picked our plot and was greeted soon after with a friendly smile and welcome pack.View all reviews by AndyDowns
Plots are gravelled and well spaced out, and were on a very slight angle so the motorhome needed chocking.
Each plot has a TV point along with power as the DTV signal is weak. 10m cables are available for £10.
Good 4G reception for Plusnet mobile phone.
Extensive sea views.
Good access to beach.
Only slight negative is it can get a bit boggy after lots of rain, but we were warned to avoid that area.
Wonderful site, right on the cliff top with direct acess to the beach , very good facilities, spotless and amazing showers.View all reviews by Debbiece
wondeful beaches and great walking to Overstrand and Cromer one way and Bacton the other, great cafe at Bacton The sugar and Spice and The clif top cafe at Overstrand,
Easy walk to the Ship inn in Mundesley good beer and food ,lovley views
Would most definatley recomend Sandy Gulls , it is an adult only site and does not take tents, very dog friendly.
New to camping in my campervan so I was delighted to find Sandy Gulls was so friendly, spacious with a super clean shower block.View all reviews by jamesg
The other campers were all very friendly too. Fantastic to have a dog friendly sandy beach just below the camp site.
Small convenience shop 10 minutes from the site, Tesco Express very close too and then Mundesley village itself which is about 25 minutes walk.
Very friendly staff. Really responsive on email and relaxed about the check out time. Met by Christine who was really helpful. We managed to find a level grass pitch at the far end. Toilets and showers are very clean and warm...although a bit of a walk as they are located within the static caravan park. Good coastal location overlooking the seaView all reviews by harryrm
Very scenic site on the cliff top. Most pitches need some form of levelling. Staff are very helpful. Facilities are a bit of a walk away but OK. Only downside to our stay was the lax attitude of staff when it came to two families turning up with kids in tow (adult only site - supposedly) and being allowed to stay. There is no gate or barriers so people can come and go as they please (even when they're not booked in). Overall a pleasant stay, although a bit pricey for the facilities available.View all reviews by milktray2000
Stayed here 4 nights and will definitely return. great location, access to the beach (dog friendly) and great for long walks. We walked all the way to Cromer 6 miles but there are a few rocks to negotiate on the way but nothing major. The bus service is very good and the stop is just on the main road from the site. Christine the site warden is really welcoming and very helpful. Facilities clean and everything you need. TV signal not good but a cable can be used. shops and pubs in village.View all reviews by mollybullterrier
Set on a cliff top every pitch has a full sea view. The shower and toilet block was immaculately clean, warm, and well provisioned. There’s even hand sanitiser at the chemical toilet disposal point, something I haven’t seen before but obvious really. You get a great welcome from the owner who couldn’t be nicer. All pitches are likely to need some levelling blocks but the site is well drained. There are pubs, beaches and small general stores all in easy walking distance. All in all, one of the beView all reviews by kevin1961
Such a peaceful site,I managed to get a pitch backing on to the sea and the view was fantastic. Site is uneven and levelling blocks definitely needed. With Christine's advice I moved pitches to one a bit more level and instead of parking on the gravel hard standing I used the grass next to it as getting on and off the gravel on the original pitch had been a problem.View all reviews by bushyf
Had only pulled up 5 mins when Christine came over with toilet code, explanation of site facilities etc.
Lovely. Peaceful. Great view. Very friendly on arrival. Nice walk along the beach to Mundesley. Recommend.View all reviews by proctor122
Came across this site as it was one of only a few open in November. Great location on the cliff top with stunning views across the sea. Need ramps as most of the pitches are on a bit of a slope, but the facilities are excellent. Friendly staff, very dog friendly and fantastic walks along the coastline to Mundesley, approximately 1 mile, and Sidestrand/Over strand, approx 4 miles. The nearest bus stop is only a couple of minutes away. Will definitely be returning.View all reviews by simange
Fantastic site on the cliff top. It's a small touring field next to the static site. Only a few gravel hard standing pitches, rest grass. As previous review, levellers may be needed. Warden very helpful and friendly. TV reception not good but warden will sell you a cable to plug into TVs point on EHU post. Facilities good, shower cubicles a good size with stool, clothes hook and shelf for shower gel etc. They're timed showers and are lovely and hot.View all reviews by gailh
Location of site is good, great views of sea. Dog friendly beach (access is a few minutes walk away).
Nearest shop is a local mini market 10 mins walk in direction of Mundersley. A few minutes further is a small Tesco. Mundesley is about 20 minute walk away. It's a nice little place with dog friendly pubs, cafes and a few shops.
Fantastic site with very friendly warden. Very well maintained with great sea views. Extremely dog friendly. Excellent facilities which are fairly new, clean and well equipped. Nightly rates are all inclusive so no hidden extras. Quiet (adults only). Some pitches a little uneven so levellers recommended. Will definitely become regular visitors.View all reviews by mrshudson
