Lovely location i have a 6m moterhome fits easly, slight slop on the spaces but not to bad. Good phone signal and hotel pub 5min walk or Callander 1.5 mile walk using back path on the other side of the road. Great walks all aroundView all reviews by stepdive
Parking for 4-6 vehicles on slightly sloping hard standing. Access road is rather uneven and needs care. The Lade Inn is just a hundred yards or so nearer Calendar and serves good food. No facilities but that is normal for a Forestry Commission car park. Parking is all under trees so no view.View all reviews by rodvw
This is a quiet remote unpaved car park among the trees overlooking a rushing stream and a pub.View all reviews by doorrny
Whilst staying we saw only a few walkers hiking the trails and it was very quiet..
No facilities and not flat but a good nights sleep and a very pleasant place to start our tour.
This is a fairly small Forestry Commission car park just off the main road. A great spot for access to lovely walks and runs as well as being a 5 mnute walk to a very pleasant pub / restaurant - The Lade Inn. No facilities although loos at pub.View all reviews by dietmar
Stayed here last night and agree with the other two comments. A quiet site with little or no road noise. The Lade Inn was friendly for my dog and I - dog biscuits, real ale & real fire. Forestry walk leads to Ben Ledi or into the Trossachs.View all reviews by stuarttiger1050
