Stayed for one night after visiting Monkey World close by. Great place to stay, owner happy for us to park in car park instead of field, didn’t want to get bogged down as was wet (November)and only for one night. Had a lovely meal there too. Toilets and showers basic but clean. Work in progress. Highly recommend.View all reviews by janr
Large field attached to the pub with water, bins and toilets open 24hrs. A little dog walk close by. Playground around the other side of the pub for little ones and a small holding of pigs to have a look at too. £12.00 per night so therefore you do not have to use the pub although we did and had a meal there. Food is good value with large portions. I had the tuna steak which was cooked very well.View all reviews by Scooby2270
Spent the night here a couple of weeks ago £12 per night no longer free even if you buy a meal (to pay for the toilets and shower block they’ve had put in) which is fair enough still cheap I think........good location centrally located for the great Jurassic Coastline and all the attractions. The owners/staff at pub were really welcoming the food was good and reasonably priced and would stay again if up that wayView all reviews by jennym
They charge £10 a night unless you have a meal. Food was lovely and staff too. They now have toilets and showers, there are 2 camping pods and a rental bungalow, they are planning on electrical points in the future but it's a work in progress. Very close to Bovington tank and monkey world as well as lulworth cove. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely go backView all reviews by d0dgyd4ve
We stayed last night. What a lovely pub. Friendly staff and great service. There’s a huge field to park in and there are toilets open 24 hours. We will be back for sure.View all reviews by daveallison
Stayed last night for one night. Close to the coast and not far from the main road so easy to reach. Parked in the large field which is level, clean and well lit. No facilities as such although there is a tap if needed - we had no need of anything as we'd come prepared! Staff were friendly, service good and food excellent. It is next to the train line but one train an hour causes no issues! Would fully recommend the Seven Stars. TY!View all reviews by Bowerhill1134
Excellent find, close to many local attractions.View all reviews by hombre
Huge open grass paddock to rear of pub with outside tap just on left (blue pipe)as you enter paddock.
Staff very helpful and freindly.
Food very good and very reasonably priced , all freshly cooked and huge portions.
Very quiet and peaceful night.
Was aware of First train passing by at 6:50am, only because of the absence of any other sounds.
Bookmarked for further visits for sure.
A great country pub with friendly staff, good food and good selection of cider and beerView all reviews by pandjstokes
Large grassy paddock behind the carpark.
Very quiet, away from the country lane, apart from the odd passing train in front of the pub.
No facilities (apart from toilets for the available to rent shepherds huts) outside of opening hours. Free if eating in the pub. Definately recommend.
A great Dorset pub
Lovely big field to the side of pub.great food and place to stay .Trains can be a bit noisy as they pass but you get used to them .No ehView all reviews by smudger1
Spent last night here. Lovely quiet spot but some occasional train noise. One mile walk to Wool station for trains to Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth or Dorchester. Food and drink good quality and not too expensive. Staff efficient and friendly. No facilities but there is a tap in the field which was a bonus. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.View all reviews by 3264blanchard
While the food looked great and the parking area lovely.. the piles of dog poo in the car park put us right off, espically when we realised one of us had it all over our shoes.. couldn't stomach the food after that. Such a shame as everything else looked lovely.View all reviews by irishwales
large car park with grass area. the owners have 3 very large dogs that are very friendly. they walk around the outside of the car park to go to the field were the shepherds hut is, we did not look for dog poo but never found any [ though looking at were you walk might me a good bet as it is a free spot not a campsite... food in pub was excellent and parking was free.View all reviews by chrisjones18
