Another fabulous freebie on S for S - a bit of traffic movement early evening but quiet before we wanted to sleep. A five minute walk to stand on the Hackpen Hill White Horse after breakfast - lovely!

Saturday night. As others have said, the views are spectacular and beautiful sunset. Very popular place into the early hours, both with amateur radio enthusiasts and amorous couples. Lots of vehicles coming and going, then popular with dog walkers from early am.
Front of car park is flat

Views don't get much better than this. Very peaceful, practically no noise after dark, no boy racers. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed here 1 night while passing only us there I'm a radio amateur so a great high spot to play radio. Next to the road but it isn't a fast road or very busy at night. Lovely spot and 100 yards to a "white horse" cut into the hillside. It's not a huge space probably room for about 5 vehicle ether side there is a lane that leads through it but no vehicles went down while we was there only walkers, I wouldn't like to fit a big tag axle on with the size but we got our medium Renault master on ok.

Nice free overnight spot. Slightly uneven car park with excellent views. Quiet on the night we stopped but morning traffic was a little noisy.

Large car park on the Ridge way. Lovely for walkers. Extremely busy "B" road, appears to be a cut through from Marlborough to the A4361. Although we felt completely safe there did seem to be a lot of nocturnal activity of the human kind!!!!!!!!!!! Not for the faint hearted................... It was busy late into the night, then early in the morning the car park filled car and walkers. The view was amazing earlier in the evening.
