We had a rare night without children so wanted to get away locally and found the Cock and Rabbit on your site. What an excellent, and very different, find! The place is run by a really interesting lady with good stories and two Italian gentlemen who certainly know their cucinando. Its like we stepped right in to a cast from Midsommer Murders. Excellent local walks too and lots to learn about the downside of HS2.View all reviews by JasonBirch
Stopped overnight at the Pub and was warmly greeted by Victoria. They were conducting a very tight social distancing regime and we had to eat on the veranda. Food was served takeaway style and everything was disposable, wine glasses, plates, knives & forks everything. The place is quirky and the Italian guys Franco & Gianno were great & funny. Food tasted fabulous and you could tell they were really trying hard to work it all out. Approach pub from Great Missenden as roads are better that way.View all reviews by mdwilson40
6 meter motorhome, Great location, but very narrow, there was a branch very low and hit the roof, but i slamed on breaks and did not damage the roof. Covid lockdown was Restricted, understandable but food and drink were good and parking was great. I also run in the morning and the root was great.View all reviews by MichaelGriffies
Solo traveler with dog and 7m motor home. small car park but I settled in a corner nicely. Very nice pub. single track roads to get here. delightful village and good walks for the hound. Friendly hosts and wonderful generous Italian food. sampled their beer as well which was very nice. would happily stop here again. no charge for overnighting but good manners would be to sample their delicious food. ????View all reviews by Nomadjac
A lovely find - very friendly and helpful owners of an English country pub, with an included authentic Italian restaurant!View all reviews by IridiumMoon
The food was delicious, and very reasonably priced. A recommended stop, so long as your vehicle is not massive, as the local roads and car park entrance might be a little tight.
No problem for my 7.5 tonner though.
Just had a lovely overnight stay here. We received a very warm welcome from the landlady and the locals and our dogs were made to feel at home too. The Italian food was fantastic, all freshly cooked to order and very good value. The car park is quite small but accommodated our 7m moho and our friends 7.6m moho, no problem. Lovely countryside walks, community run village shop and one other pub close by. Please note that the lanes leading up to The Lee are single track roadsView all reviews by autotrailtracker
Very friendly welcome.View all reviews by radioham
Car park has a slight slope, but not too much of an issue if you pick the right spot.
Good range of food available, along with their own micro-brewery beer on pumps.
Very quiet location and recommended.
Free stop-over, but polite to use the pub of course.
Amazing. Italian restaurant and pub. The food in the restaurant is just brilliant. The atmosphere, friendliness and warmth in the pub is outstanding. Car park quite small, some overhanging trees. Narrow roads to get to it. The effort is worth it. Simply a brilliant find. go for it.View all reviews by onlyjen
