Quite a large site, facilitues a but outdated but right on the river, we were there on a sunny weekend. Town a short walk away with a few grocery shops, lovely cafe's and places to eat, would definately return if down this way again.

Lovely site for a stopover. Very level, lots of different areas. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Everything was very clean. Lovely little walk next to the river. Very quiet. £16 per night

We were charged £20 plus £3 for electric (which we needed because the gas side of our fridge had failed) which we thought was a bit steep. Parking on large grass fields was pleasant enough as the ground was very dry. Showers very outdated but clean. Easy access for large motorhomes. Ours is a 9m tag axle.
Owners were pleasant and helpful.
Bungay is a 5 minute walk with plenty of shops and pubs.

once you pass the steptoes looking yard you go into a beautiful site. I would go for the pitches on your right as on the left is more for seasonal and residential.
if you love canoeing then you will love this site right on the waveny river. you can hirer canoes and bikes from the site.
bike rides into lowestoft and Harleston as you are right on the route 30.
right on the edge of Bungay where there are few pubs and loads of tea rooms and cafes as well as beautiful shops.plus buses to Norwich and beccles.
shower blocks are dated but clean.
you do need 20p for hot water to wash up but showers free. hair dryer also 20p.
washing machine and tumble dryer available.
all grass pitches and no problem with tag.
