Fabulous location right on a stunning beach with views over to Iona. Very welcoming check in process. Sites allocated on first come first served basis. Parking in field next to beach. Facilities very good quality in a single block with enough showers/toilets. A great blend of wild camping with some home comfort facilities.
1.5-2hr drive from Craignure. There is a fuel stop in last 15mins to site (there are no others from Craignure). Single track road most of the way but fine for all traffic.
Second time here and it is a great location. You can park wherever you like on the camping ground and stunning views over the bays. £20 per night for a motorhome. Good facilities for dumping waste and a small toilet and shower block. No EHU. Really like this site but it is a big walk in to get ferry to Iona. We had our bikes so great place to base yourself and go exploring on your bikes. Any size motorhome will fit here as plenty space. Highly recommend this site just to relax and enjoy the views and the sunsets and chill.View all reviews by johnandmaree
Here for a few days in May the week before 1/2 term so quite quiet, lucky there were a few sea side pitches, £20pn. Many sheep on site scattered water points around, couple of portaloos by the chem disposal and small toilet block with 2x shower by farm reception, nearly a wild camp experience so be prepared. Saw many with canoes and wet suites enjoying the shore lines. Walked to Knockvologan beach which was deserted and to Fionnphort (30mins) which is only busy due to Iona ferry.View all reviews by Cube
Unfortunately we were there when it was a bit misty, so did not see the wonderful views! We felt it was overpriced as it was quite a walk to the showers and toilet blocks, and no ehu. We didn't find the grey water disposal, although I have been informed since there is one, it was not obvious as it was behind the chemical disposal nothing to say that is what it was,and it was on the grass!!View all reviews by nosila54
Good camping to stay as a change for all the wild camping .View all reviews by casper

Good walking along the beach.
Absolutely stunning location, probably the best spot we've ever stayed. New toilets and showers, very clean.View all reviews by caesar001
Lovely spot right on the beautiful sandy beach. Site now has new showers and toilets which are excellent. Pitch price is now £8 per person raising to £10 pp in 2018. Firm grass pitches. No ehu.View all reviews by bryanm500
Wow! What a location right by a white sandy beach overlooking the island of Iona. No marked pitches, just chose your own spot. Basic water and chemical disposal facilities (but oddly enough no tap for washing the toilet cassette). No EHU. This really is a superb location and the owners are very helpful, they let us charge up my camera in their porch so we would be able to use it on our trip to Staffa and Fingal's Cave. You can dump MH grey waste by their byre by driving over the drain there. There are no HS pitches but despite some heavy rain the well drained sandy soil was firm and parking was easy. We will most certainly return.View all reviews by photo4x4
A fabulous campsite without prescribed pitches or hook ups but loads of space and wonderful views, almost feels like wild camping.View all reviews by morleyja
Right beside the shore overlooking Iona.
Definitely take binoculars with you to check out all the wildlife on the shore morning and evening.
Shower block and toilets pristine.
Quite a drive to get to but so worth it and we were fortunate enough to see a sea eagle along the lakeside on the way.
Take a day trip over to Iona, cycle, walk.
Facility rating only because no cassette rinsing facilities.
Also no hook upsbut we don’t need one and for us such a restriction to where to pitch would spoil wild camping feel of place.
