We just wanted a place to stop after getting off the ferry at Larne. This aire provided everything we needed. Extremely clean showers and toilets plus tables, chairs and coffee machine when clubhouse is open. Chemical toilet disposal. You can buy 1 hour electricity or 100 litres of water for £2. The site does slope but not a problem with chocks although we didn't bother.View all reviews by mackasx2
The service point was actually working here (the only one we found in NI) - bought our tokens from the Castle in Carrick Fergus. Car Park slopes a lot so did not stay here - stayed at Whitehead Harbour just down the road.View all reviews by sheilawise
The car park is on quite a slope. It's very quiet and peaceful overnight. There's not much to see or do around the area. There is a railway museum but it's only open Thursday to Saturday. There are free showers in the golf club and a free water tap by the fence. There is a euro relais if you need electricity, tokens available from the golf club.View all reviews by alimik
Stayed one night after moving on from Carrickfergus harbour because of the noise. Bentra golf club is a really good spot, got a good nights' sleep before catching the ferry from Larne. Didn't use the service point but it looked in working orderView all reviews by dobbo1950
