Riverside Gardens is a picturesque site on the bank of the river Meden in the heart of Sherwood Forest, with its clear waters and enchanting wildlife it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The site caters for all types of campers, from large units to small backpackers. Central to the site is the toilet block with a unisex disabled facility and toilet waste disposal unit. There are canoeing docks for easy access to the river, fishing is permitted on request. A fenced area is provided for dogs to exercise etc. The site is located on the outskirts of the village with many public footpath and bridleways, also two national cycle routes pass by the site.
