It's a get-away-from-it-all, quiet (except for babbling stream) site surrounded by hills and trees - looking great in late autumn when there's hardly anyone there. But warning: most of the pitches are sloping and all grass. Care needed after rain. Amenities are basic - no extras like loo rolls, seats, soap, dryers etc. But showers free. But then it's only a euro or two more than the no-electric Kayserberg aire. Its restaurant closed for fixing to H&S regs, apparently.

Lucky find after all other sites in the area were full. Be warned, this is a very popular area for tourists. 14.50 EUR incl free WiFi, clean showers and toilets. Mostly flat plots. Elec is not reverse polarity, like some French sites. Quiet location, friendly reception, a few miles out of Kaysersberg in a wooded valley, so good to escape the commercial side of Kaysersberg, if that's what you want.
