Came here in the Dark on a Saturday night to a very full Car Park found a space and went inside, lovely little Pub that was quite full, asked the Landlord for a Menu and if it was ok to park for the night, he was very welcoming said it was no problem at all. Limited Menu but had all your Pub Favorites all around £8 - £10 mark. Had Steak in ale pie and my wife had burger both were spot on and plenty of it, had a nice bottle of Malbec at £13.50 then settled down to a nice quiet night, so all in all we would highly recomend it.View all reviews by astleyramsey
Really good stopover. Lovely walk up to Rodney's pillar with extensive views. Very friendly welcome in the pub. We had a lovely meal. The pub is in the Good Beer Guide and we can confirm that the beer and wine were both very good :)View all reviews by roseandpeter

Very warm welcome in the pub, food served from 6 p.m.
Bit of a limited menu but well priced and tasty.
Please be aware that this pub is currently closed for extensive renovations. (March 2018) Don't know when it will re-open but we understand that there has been a change of ownership. In order to submit the review I have been forced to estimate ratings.View all reviews by number14
