The pub is situated in a typical Yorkshire village 2.5 miles outside of Wetherby. Car park is tarmac with a very slight slope we needed levellers. There is a lovely walk from the carpark to Spofforth about 5 miles circuit. The pub is fab, very welcoming and the food superb. The Scotts Arms is only a 20 minute run for us and could easily become a favourite, we are already looking forward to a return visit.

Great motorhome stop, large carpark with good views, quiet with no rowdy element. Welcomed by pub owners who also have a motorhome. Free as long as you eat, which is a joy! The food was really good. The atmosphere in the pub was lovely and the staff were great. Would def recommend.

We stopped at the Scotts Arms last week on our way to Scotland. We parked our camper van on the large car park facing a beautiful view. We then took a walk around the lovely little village. That evening we had drinks and dinner while watching the tennis on their tv. For dinner we shared a starter of some delicious homemade bread and oils and tapenade. Our mains were a fabulous red snapper curry and a king prawn and chorizo risotto. Definitely recommend.

Arrived late teatime to a warm welcome from our host. Very large car park with easy access to the rear. Booked our table and sat and chilled in the beer garden whilst looking through the comprehensive menu then ordered and hoped it tasted as good as it read.... We were not disappointed.... Food was excellent, host and staff friendly and now for a quiet night hopefully. Pub is renowned for food and so doesn't stay open late I'm told so get here early if you wish to eat.

Great traditional 17th century country pub, very impressive and reasonably priced, Lovely landlord and very friendly staff - the food was fantastic - my wife ordered the brisket but did not expect a full joint! Great aura and character. Loads of space to park and very quiet will definitely return, highly recommended.

We were made very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. Wild mushroom risotto and venison mixed grill. Large reasonably flat car park particularly at the back and a very peaceful night.

Stoppped in here on way back from Northumberland. Parked up and asked if we could stay if we are. No probs, beautiful pub, smashing landlord and food to die for, steak pie faultless. Lovely little village, about 5 miles from wetherby. The car park is big and flat, covered by cctv, horses and Shetland ponies over the fence next to car park. A fantastic stoves showroom attached to pub, really interesting guy to talk to about living off grid

Absolutely beautiful country pub!!! We arrived without phoning but this pub has a very large car park. We had no problem parking an 8.5 m motorhome although there are no designated bays. The menu is a little different but wow the quality when it arrived was stunning. I would happily not eat all day to have food like that every night!! Lots of guest ales too for the fans. We will be back.

Stayed at the Scott Arms on Saturday 11th July.We parked our Motorhome in the corner of the car park, and went into the bar to make sure it was ok.The landlord couldnt of been more friendly, and said thats ok.We had one of the best meals we have had in ages, and if you have a meal and drinks you can over night for free.
The area is lovely, and Wetherby just up the road is a nice looking town.
I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay the night and the food was amazing.
