Lovely quiet place to overnight stay. Unfortunately we had mechanical problems so got there after closing time. Will definitely be back.

The best thing about this pub on the evening we stayed was Mia, a really warm and welcoming human being! She must be the MOS mentioned in an earlier review. The pub is a 'proper' pub, like the ones you had to sit outside with a bottle of coke. The regular customers were friendly too and there is a lovely atmosphere. There is a skittle alley too.
There are portaloos in the carpark which is flattish. Massive garden with 2 massive statues at the bottom. Wilkins cider is a great pint and made locally.
We would stay again.

Solo female traveller.
Stayed here on an overnight stop 29/8/19. Have to say it was one of the friendliest places on the planet! The bar maid was so friendly and welcoming and the regulars were the same. There was a friendly skittles match which just blew me away ????. Friendly fun night. I can highly recommend this place even as a solo female traveler I felt welcome and safe. Definately on my list of places to re-visit. Thanks guys. Helen

Phoned ahead and was told if we spend some money behind the bar then we could stay by the trees, didnt hear a pin drop all night.
What a lovely pub, staff and locals.
No hot food but the lovely barmaid made us a roll for £1.50, happy days :)
Friday night is bingo night.
Definately will visit again.

Great choice of cider, lovely people. If you're looking for a gastro pub and posh facilities this won't be your sort of thing, but If you want friendly people, lovely warm atmosphere and a wide range of ciders (inc Wilkins!), then this will do just fine! We parked up for 1 night and had the best time. The ladies skittles team was also playing a match so that added further fun. It's off the beaten track but one of those rare gems, a non-chain pub for the locals.

We stayed at the Railway Inn after visiting the bird sanctuary at Ham Wall a 2 minute walk away. We phoned ahead and they said that if you were a member of Britstops it was free to stay in their car park, otherwise £5 per night. Room for about 3-4 motorhomes of our size (6m). Very friendly pub and although there was a guide dogs only sign we were allowed our dog in the far end, away from the regulars, which we were very grateful for. Great cider, no food unfortunately. Would return!
