|The Crown Inn is a traditional freehold country pub in the Polden level village of Catcott, which lies just off the A39 between the popular towns of Bridgwater and Street|
The original part of this idyllic pub is over 400 years old and has the warmth and character so many pubs have lost over the years retaining the wonderful open log fire (great on a chilly night), original flagstone floors, cob walls and low beamed ceilings.

Thanks again to all of you for making our stay so enjoyable.
Good stopover. Large level car park. Met by the owner who was very friendly and chatty. We did have a meal which was basic value for money. Not sure if there was any facilities as we did not require use of any for that reason I can't really score this. On a very quiet road so had a good nights sleep.View all reviews by primrosemary

We had a warm and very friendly welcome.
The food is very good and large portions, so value for money.
We have stayed a couple of times. Landlord is excellent, food is excellent, they have always said for us to stay as long as we wanted. We will always pop back for food when passing. my favourites have been the pork belly, and the chocolate trio pudding!View all reviews by steve101
