Woukd definately reccomend for overnight stay at this site.
Thanks you so much
Great site, lovely clean loos and showers which were hot and plentyful. Pitches are large and have privacy hedges. Friendly owner. Sadly the Railway inn is closed. Bery close to railway but we were not at all disturbed by it. From here we easily went to Wallington and Cragside National Trust properties and also into Amble to eat in the evening.View all reviews by carolh2202
Stayed last night but dissapointed to find the pub is now shut so no food. Toilets and showers ok but £20 a bit steep consideringView all reviews by thmjo1
Great little site. The owner was very helpful. Facilities clean and never very busy. Able to pick ur own spot, each hard standing is sectioned off with hedges so very private.View all reviews by camogirl
Very little train noise( last train 22:30 first trajn 6:30 but very few and far between.
£20 per night with eletric. We stopped 2 night and paid as we went along.
Lots of vans only stop one night but caravaners evidently their for a holiday.
I booked for and paid for three nights, Thursday to Sunday. The Thursday night was very pleasant very quiet and had a reasonable meal in the pub and a couple of pints.View all reviews by philr
We went out on Friday and on our return found a couple of families from hell had arrived with their tents and taken over a section of grass one pitch up from us. Screaming kids, footballs being booted everywhere including against my motorhome was enough for me and we left without staying the night.
We’ve stopped here twice now and can not fault this little campsite.View all reviews by fliss
£20 for EHU. Great pub, beautiful home cooked food.
Yes there is rail noise until 2200 but it didn’t spoil our stay and the beer is that good, you don’t notice it!
A great place close to the Druridge Bay Country Park for miles of unspoilt beaches!
We used this site when travelling down the coast from Berwick. Small site next to pub with very large pitches next to a railway line (clue is in the name). We don’t mind the sound of high speed trains so had a good nights sleep. Staff at pub very welcoming. Cost £20 for one night with water and ehu on pitch. Motorhome services with water and waste disposal. Toilets and shower facilities were basic and cold and the floor was always wet, but very clean. We will return.View all reviews by alipop
Stayed here whilst travelling along Northumbria coast.View all reviews by macandsarah
Nice site. Large pitches. Facilities adequate.
Bar & meals exceptional.
Would definitely return.
Speaking to owner and other campers, majority of trade made up of return visitors.
Nice spot...near Acklington rail station surprisingly! As stated wc, showers, electric hook up included. Friendly staff and super food in pub. Enjoying right now. Not much nearby..3mls to Co op for milk.View all reviews by kim4008
Really nice pub stopover with hook ups but they do rent a couple of small rooms attached to the pub. Nice meals available inside the pub. Really handy for Druridge bay walks. Its quite close to the main East coast railway line but that didn't bother us. Nearby woods are fine for a dog walkView all reviews by mcbrid
