Great stopover for visiting Dordrecht - Hollands oldest city. Friendly harbourmasterView all reviews by jilly
12 euros 2.50 extra for electricity if you need it.
We cycled into town around 20 minutes. On cycle lanes flat and easy to find. I am also able to do some washing here 5 euro to wash and use dryer. Just ask at reception and they give you washing tablet and help you turn on the machine.
Great stop. Quiet, clean loos/showers. Helpful owners. An extra 6 euros to use the washing machine was a bit pricey but heyho. It does have a massive industrial area behind it, on the other side of the road, but it’s not invasive. The surrounding area looks very dissapiinting when you approach however we visited Dordrecht centre which was absolutely lovely and this alone makes it a good stopover. We had a prime side on position to the harbour but it was January so i can imagine if its busy you might have to park away from the view in the car park. You are given a key to a side gate which puts you straight onto a foot path/cycle path which was great for walking the dog.View all reviews by jonnymc2
A great spot about 3 miles cycle along the river. If the marina is full, there are another 15 spots in the car park. You get two bays so you can put out your chairs. Although a little noisy first thing in the morning, it's a great little spot. The 202 waterbus from the main quay in town is fab as Tinka says to get to Kinderdijk. It's free to get into the UNESCO site to walk or cycle and a small fee for the museum and boat. Bicycles free on ferry. €12pn exc elec, showers .50c for 5 mins.View all reviews by themotoroamers
A secure parking area run by a very helpful man, Paul who speaks excellent English. Washing machine and dryer are 3 euros each as is EHU. To get into Dordrecht turn left out of gate, 200 yards along on the corner of the road you'll see the bus stop where you get on and off when you come back, coming back you need the number 4 to Saart, 2 euros each each way. There is a market on Fridays and there's a ferry to Rotterdam or Kinderdijk where the 19 windmills are, it's 8 euros for two each way..View all reviews by tinka
