Stayed over on 5/6/19. Telephoned ahead. Car park got busy later but no problem. Warm and welcoming staff. Good selection of ales and food was really really good, steak was better than miller&carter best I've had in a long time.View all reviews by sanjay

6 of us stayed here for new years eve. Landlady and staff are all very welcoming. Had sunday lunch and meal at night. Both excellent large servings and really nice. Nice touch was at midnight we got a bottle of prosecco on table . Large flat car park plenty of room. 2 of us 8.5m long. In quiet village opposite local village store for essentials. No hook ups etc but didnt need themView all reviews by janetknowles284
Stayed after visiting Delamere Forest, called ahead to reserve a space but no other motorhomes present. The car park is a bit of a building site at the moment as the surrounding area is being redeveloped (I think a new bowling green for the village). Warm welcome in the pub, simple bar food, not fantastic but ok. Parked at the end of car park backed up to residential gardens, very quiet, would use again no problem. Self sufficient and didn't need to empty wastes or refill water so unable to comment on this, no EHU either.View all reviews by mrtoolbag
Lovely pub. Nice food and beer. Quiet location. Recommended. Let them know, if possible, because they like you to park at the far end out of the way. Perhaps I should have checked what facilities were on offer but we managed fine.View all reviews by bobthebutcher
