First time to Cheddar and the Gorge. Lovely site, not to big, adult only, so for us since our children have long since flown the nest was nice and quite. Great location for an easy stroll into the town, via a quite country footpath (so no roads or traffic). It is around an easy 15 min walk.View all reviews by datadezign
The site is very clean and very well kept and the managers are extremely helpful and very friendly, which to be welcomed this way and during our stay makes this exeperience very enjoyable.
We visited this site on a tour around coming from the midlands, stopping off at Bourton on the Water, Bath, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and one or two pub stops found using this app on the way back home.
This is our first experience with our motorhome, and I think we hit the jackpot! This site is perfect for us, very dog friendly, really lovely owners, and close to gorgeous river walks and the gorge.View all reviews by peggyann
The site is small and very quiet, with all necessary facilities and lovely hot showers.
We will definitely be back!
Nice site, easy walking to Cheddar village and Gorge. Friendly welcome, many pitches are handstanding, so no problem in wet weather.View all reviews by mafield01
Showers piping hot and roomy, although as only two each male & female, queueing a possibility in busier times. Some basic shopping items on site.
Great little independent site, great wardens and owner. Peaceful and tranquil, pitched next to the river, gravel hardstandings, nice and level. Facilities all good, and nice little touches everywhere. Sounds of woodpeckers, owls and bats flying along river at night. Close (walkable) to supermarkets and Cheddar Gorge. Wish we had stayed longer. Nice site.View all reviews by LifewithaView
Nice friendly site next to MCC site, no silly rules and peaceful.View all reviews by redcar56
Great location for visiting Cheddar Gorge, about 7 minute walk, great bike ride along the Strawberry route just 10 minutes away.
Booked for two days. Wish we had booked more time off work! Great site, friendly and very clean. Well maintained. Great to walk to the Gorge and other places. Quite most times, but the football club does have do's on Saturdays. Same setting as the C&MC site with less rules and cheaper too. (Just next door! 50 mtrs)View all reviews by rumour
Withing easy reach of Weston and Brean. Bristol is well worth a visit too. If you want quiet tranquility, this is the place. Back later in the year...
Lovely site. Excellent location. Warm welcome. Good clean facilities. Great hard standing pitches. Quiet but very friendly. Short walk to pub and village shops and a longer stroll to the Gorge. Ate in the Bath Arms where the food was excellent (proper food rather than pub grub). We visited to use the Strawberry Line cycle path which is mainly a dedicated path with some short parts on roads (parts currently closed for water works) . Lovely views of the reservoir and countryside. We will return.View all reviews by sandrae
Adults only site. We had a lovely pitch in the corner next to river and tent field. Very nice people. They sell scones and strawberries. Facilities are not the most modern, but clean and good. Supermarket nearby. Walking distance to gorge.View all reviews by siepie
Lovely little site next door to the Caravan and Motorhome site but much cheaper. The showers/toilets are described as luxury - I'd say they were average but very clean and warm. Great location for Cheddar village and the Gorge. A few minutes away from a Supermarket (Sainsbury's?) The couple running the site are very helpfulView all reviews by gailh
Great site. Pitched beside the river. Lovely and peaceful with an easy walk into the town and up into the gorge. Very freindly and well spaced pitches.View all reviews by stephenk
We spent one night on the site and found it to be very friendly. The site is brilliant for visiting the village of Cheddar and there are some lovely rural walks in the area. The site is accessed over a narrow bridge but this wasn't a problem, even for us as novice Motorhomers!View all reviews by susanware

We have stayed here a couple of times, once for the Somerset Carnivals in late October. early November and once in the Spring. On both occasions we've thoroughly enjoyed the site and facilities. The bliss of having your glasses steam up in the winter months when you walk into the deliciously heated toilet block. We have always found the owners to be friendly and helpful and will certainly go back as it is only a very short 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Cheddar village and then a few more minutes to the bottom of the gorge. There are bus stops in the village for Weston Super Mare and Wells, so it is ideal if you don't want to use your Motor-home for travelling in the area.View all reviews by lynne77
