I have stayed here three or four times. Car park is small, fine for my 6 metre van but not sure if much larger. Landlord and staff very friendly. Eaten restaurant food twice, not cheap but very good. One occasion arrived too late and was directed to a takeaway. Would recommend if visiting a local Motorhome dealer! Or en route.View all reviews by nicnaen
Stayed there this week to visit motorhome dealer just up the road. Had the car park to myself, there is some noise from the road but not too bad. Nice country pub feel with a good choice on the restaurant menu. Landlord very friendly and welcoming.View all reviews by langdav
Spent a pleasant evening in the bar sampling the excellent real ales. The food was reasonably priced and my lasagne was obviously home made and most delicious. Dogs were made very welcome in the bar.View all reviews by alanthornton
The tarmac carpark is flat but only suitable for up to 7.5M vans if parking in the designated bays.
It's only a short walk, 150M, to the Kennet and Avon canal where you can walk either way for miles!
Lovely pub with food. I missed the food! I was a little late...Nice walk along the canal to the Rowbarge in Woolhampton! Friendly staff and nice beer.View all reviews by max1

Just spent a fantastic night in the car park at The Butt Inn. We had a really good night's sleep. Good, level car park. Tucked in nicely down the end, away from the road. A very quiet night. The pub looks very pretty, with an abundance of flowers adorning the frontage. We had a great welcome from the landlady, and there was no obligation to patronise the pub (but hubby had a couple of very nice pints he tells me) Can't fault in any way and would highly recommend. Canal a few hundred yards awayView all reviews by bertiebear
Nice if tired pub, it looks past it's hey day but friendly staff and not bad pub grub, agree with the 7m max you also need to get there when there's plenty of room in the car park, by 7.30 it was full.View all reviews by tightfart
Decent place to stop for the night, level car park but they do ask you to go down the end. 7 metre van just fits with the overhang nearly up to fence so no issues. No charge but we did have a meal in the pub. The meal itself was not particularly cheap but of decent quality. The hosts were very friendly. Dogs allowed in the main bar part onlyView all reviews by duxdeluxe
