Found the Plough Inn on SFS but were only looking for a lunch stop that we could get our van into. Arrived close to the end of lunchtime but the landlady was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. When we mentioned we were in our van she happily offered us an overnight stay. Food was excellent and the pub itself typically country style and cosy. Location was quiet and we’ll be back for an overnight next time we’re down that way.View all reviews by Shortap50

Lovely old fashioned pub with loads of period features. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was delicious and much better than the average pub meal. The acess road is narrow though there is places to pass oncoming traffic if necessary.View all reviews by stansearch
