MH places currently closed due to site renovation work, but we were allowed to stay anyway. Parked beside the bottled gas storage lockers. No problem.View all reviews by Wildfreedom
Bar was open for drinks and food. Bought a drink and had free EHU. :) Fresh water tap. No dedicated Black water disposal point, but who can complain when it's all for free. Toilets are available anyway.
The stopover is directly on the canal side, and a nice place. Staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Goat and Chickens in a pen.
A peaceful night.
Nice stopover alongside canal. Only room for 2 campervans at present, but a developing site. Hook up for 2 campers, no problem and no charge if we had a couple of drinks. Very helpful staff and “helpers”. We didnt get to eat as the kitchen was closed but heard good reports from the locals.View all reviews by kazey
Toilets and washing machine also on site. Washing machine £4
Not the prettiest of approach, through the boatyard. But once situated and welcomed you can forget that aspect. Lovely view directly over the canal. Great cafe on site with lovely homecooked food. Small pen with goats and chickens. Ehu was £5. Once the yard and cafe staff had left (7pm) it was super quiet and relaxing. Deep gravel parking alongside the cafe. Lovely walks along the canal, dogs welcomed. Didnt use the other listed facilities (water waste) so cant vouch for thoseView all reviews by zaksmum73
They’ve really worked hard on this place recently. Lovely location and added bonus of really good cafe/restaurant/bar where they serve a good range of food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. It’s a boatyard so I’m sure there would be no problem with water/waste, etc. Probably even EHU at a cost. We weren’t staying there, just having something to eat and drink whilst walking the canal.View all reviews by nina0548
