We phoned ahead and were directed to park on the gravel pullin beside the pub. On arrival, cars picking up from the local school were parked ther and if we had turned 90 we'd have blocked the entrance to the Discovery Centre. Parked there instead.
Pub offered OK menu, standard pub grub, we had a steak which was OK. Not exactly 'mine host'... the place was very quiet and we had minimal engagement from any of the staff. Use next door and give a donation!

A well located, dog friendly old inn just off the A49. Very clean and tidy. Free WiFi. A nice food menu with locally brewed ales. You can park next to the pub at the Discovery Centre, which itself has extensive local walks and a cafe.
