good quiet stopover. However they don't do food on Sunday evening. we arrived at 6pm but was still made welcome and had a couple of good beers.

The carpark is huge allowing for lots of choice when parking. There isn't much of a view due to the location, but the village is very sweet to take a walk around and explore. The hotel is fabulous! The food was delicious and I was luckily enough to be there for some live music! Breakfast was offered but I had plans. This venue is on my 'favourites' list and I will be certainly be returning in the future!
Thank you Ged (and your staff and regulars), for being such lovely hosts...:)

Stayed there Friday night as they had music on in the barn we were made welcome, nice big car park very quiet all day and night the food was pub grub type which we like, on the early bird dishes they are £8 if you order between 17.30 and 18.30 which we did and they came out piping hot and filled the plate we had hunters chicken and gammon steak and would gladly pay the normal price for them.

We called on spec, made to feel welcome. Enjoyed the meal we had. Would describe as tasty, average pub grub at a fair price. Dogs allowed in the bar. To avoid any stress make sure you enter the car park from the road by the school, not from the hotel front. We were offered electric but had no need. Would stay again.

Large car park. Friendly welcome from staff and customers alike. Water available. Free ovwrnight with drinking beer. No longer under historic family ownership. Very untidy and unkempt outside. Not advisable to eat here anymore. Shame.

The George Hotel, has a great car park and the best way to get onto it is round by the village hall. The food was mediocre which surprised us as so many good reviews.

Came here as read reviews on search for sites. So pleased we did, Trevor, John & the rest of the staff so helpful & very friendly. Nothing is a problem we paid £5 for ehu as we have a 4 year old son & needed the electric. Food is amazing here I got full rack of ribs with salad which the ribs filled the whole plate my partner got steak with Diane sauce & little one had sausages, mash & gravy, we were all full after eating this superb food. The locals in the pub were really friendly & chatty, especially Wayne & Tracy plus the lads from the landscaping business. Highly recommend this place. We would even come back here on our return journey.

We were off to a family funeral in Boston and coming from Lancashire decided to stay here overnight ready for an early start. We were made most welcome, I did ring beforehand. Plenty of room on the car park for large outfits. We were offered EHU, suggested donation £5. We didn’t require it.
Food was served from 4pm, good selection and reasonable prices. I went for the Steak Pie and my wife had the Coq u Vin. Both very good. The beer was well kept and we enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend

Very friendly . Offered EHU but wasn't able to park in the right spot - no charge was mentioned but it's not clear f it was free.
Brilliant roaring fire, great ale and good food.
Open at 7.30 am for Breakfast so took the opportunity and it was brilliant value

Well placed overnight stop, easy to find. Very quiet - huge carpark could accomodate any size of MH. The hotel unexpectedly provided electric hook up( not fixed electric units so if many MHs parks, only 2/3 would get hooked up.) No pressure to eat in hotel but we did and the food was very good quality and taste. The steak and ale pie was rammed full of steak. Toilets in hotel were clean and the hotel doors opened by 7:30 am as the hotel was serving breakfast.
Dogs welcomed in the bar.

Nice hotel with an unbelievable amount of whisky available. Approx 700 malts! Car park very quiet and no charge made although we felt like we should have a courteous drink. Was even offered electric hookup. No rush to vacate the next day. Good call off site for heading to north Norfolk.

Lovely village pub, the carpark at the back is gravel fairly level. The owners are very welcoming and even offer hook up if needed. The bar has 700 ish bottles of whisky all of which are for sale!! the food menu if great too, the portions are rather large (the do have a light bites section) I had the mixed grill, now I can eat and it beat me, but well worth it!

Arriving on a Monday evening we had a decent quality pub meal, my husband having a substantial, tasty steak & ale pie whilst I had the veggie option. The pub itself could possibly stand a refurb but the welcome from landlord and regulars was friendly. The landlord has an incredible collection of single malt whiskies! Leadenham is well worth exploring with fascinating vernacular architecture, delightful cottage gardens and even a polo centre! We slept soundly, undisturbed in the far car park.

Delightful place. Quirky but very friendly and very nice food. Owner, a lovely lady, who asked the chef to stay on a bit as we weren't arriving until about 9am. The food was great and reasonably priced. Very friendly bar staff and patrons. Great stop over.

Fabulously quirky English pub, very friendly, great food, free to plug in. Loved it. Vegetarian curry was delicious. Lawrence of Arabia once guzzled here before wiping himself out on his motor bike.
