Stayed here for the night with 7 & 10 year old boys and a dog. Great little spot tucked away at the end if the car park. There’s a little play area for the kids with a rope swing and a stream to play around.View all reviews by stiflerswhip
Very welcoming staff and the food was ok. Dog friendly in the bar area.
The facilities are basic and no access outside of opening times but they do close at 23:30 and open again for 08:00.
Great base to then head up to the White Horse for a walk.
Nice evening & night spent on a fairly level pitch. 3 real ales on tap & a good menu to choose from. Very pleasant staff. Took advantage of the Wednesday night 50% off a some of the meals for the 50+ 3 courses for £10. Not the best food we have had but for the price good value. Dog friendly pub with a buzz about it. We had checked when we booked that they had water facilities but found out they do not! That said they were very accommodating and gave us a couple of bottles to see us through.View all reviews by igup
Pub had real buzz atmosphere. Almost level tarmac pitch next to garden.View all reviews by JonoJono
Very welcoming staff and dog friendly too.
Food ok and nice beers.
Recommend booking pitch and dinner spot as place is cosy!
Breakfast available from 8-11am if you want it.
No fee for pitch and no facilities outside pub hours that we saw.
Large MH’s would not get in.

Came late afternoon and were able to park by the garden. Very hospitable landlord and landlady, went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Might be advisable to book a table in the restaurant but meals served in the bar as well. Thursday night was steak night, £8 for ribeye and chips and delicious it was too. Would certainly visit again.View all reviews by jan614
Lovely pub stopover. We parked up in the far end of the car park near the garden. I guess it could get busy in the summer. Reasonably flat car park.View all reviews by lizp
We phoned ahead to book in as they say only 2 spaces. Not sure if you can get in to use the pub facilities out of hours. I guess unlikely.
We had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice. The pub had on 3 real ales which were good. They do allow dogs but not in the restaurant. If you want to eat in the bar you probably need to book a table
Great site for overnighting, made to feel very welcome with our dogs. Food was excellent, nice garden, quiet nights stopover. Not sure if you have access to the washrooms at night as we only used when it was open. No rush to leave in the morning. highly recommended.View all reviews by TheTravelBug
Great welcome, warm friendly staff, the roast was amongst the best I've ever had in a pub, the owners went out of their way to say hello, and to finish they had a fantastic country/ blues band playing. Will certainly return whenever in the area.View all reviews by alanrh
