Castellane, what can you say. The ‘gateway’ to the Gorges du Verdon. A great aire, 40 marked places, now separated from the general parking area and entered through a barrier (with machine to take the parking fee). 2 minutes walk from the village, has a public toilet and the usual waste/fresh water facilities, which are free to use. Directly below the Notre Dame du Roc, which is quite a sight when illuminated at night. Farmers Market on Wednesday morning, Street Market Saturday morning.View all reviews by sprokit

Went for a refreshing swim in the river, wow......
At night the roc, is lit up and is stunning, pretty town and the market was on while we were there.
Cheap enough to stay and public toilets were nice and clean
Situated beneath the towering Notre Dame du Roc.View all reviews by admin
Dedicated motorhome parking in a mixed parking area. motorhome bays are clearly marked around the perimeter. (although that did not stop cars using these bays)
Entrance barrier is sited high enough to let cars in and out but Motorhomes have to pay to raise the barrier. 6€ (cash only) required. Machine was temperamental when we visited and only accepted €2 coins although it claims to accept 20, 50 cent 1€ and 2€ coins.
Take the tour du Roc walk to visit the chapel on top for a great view of the surrounding countryside. (looks harder than it really is)
Nice Aire a stones throw to the town centre and all its wonderful restaurants. 6 euros payable in cash. Toilets very clean. An ideal spot for doing the "Gorge du Verdun".View all reviews by captgeoff
