Very flat gravel area no soul or character nice view of the loch and not a bad town down the road but not suitable to walk there due to traffic faciltys closed due to covid but still full price which is not worth it glad only stayed for one nite reminds me of a service station parking area no soul water with hook up a plus lots midges be warnedView all reviews by clogie65
As others have said, it’s a lovely spot with great views over the loch. Covid precautions now mean pre-booking (and pre-paying!) before arrival. ALL facilities are currently closed so self-contained vehicles only. EHU, fresh water, grey & black waste facilities are still available. The walk into Inveraray is a doddle, flat but with occasional muddy spots. We had an enjoyable stayView all reviews by kentom
Fantastic views over the loch, touring pitches overlook the loch. Good clean facilities with one right by the touring pitch area. Unfortunately the bistro/restaurant was closed the night I was there. It says there’s a loch side walk into Invarerary I didn’t do it but when I was driving into Inveraray it appeared at one point you had to walk on the very busy main road.View all reviews by bushyf
Don’t be deceived by the approach where all you can see are static park homes next to a busy road! Venture in. The touring pitches are right at the end of this rather large park.View all reviews by Daluxolo
Close to the waters edge, and really good and clean services.
The best of our 30 day trip so far.
Really friendly, helpful staff and walking distance to Inverary too!
Pub and restaurant at reception (didn’ try).
Well spaced and level pitches in an excellent location. Site has a bar / eatery and it has many holiday static pitches set away from the touring pitches. No tent camping. Only let down by small shower / toilet block as the other block was fenced off for repair I presume / hope!View all reviews by ullapool
Staff were very friendly. Pricey compared to club sites.
Cracking site for the larger motorhome inc tag axle. Accommodated our 12m length no problem. Staff all very friendly, toilets and showers spotless and have to mention the full breakfast! Yum Yum. The also have a deal on 3 nights.View all reviews by neoplanvoyager
Stayed one night on this site enroute to Islay. The site is in a lovely location with adequate facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. As an added bonus there is an onsite bistro. I would definitely stay again.View all reviews by hendersonam
Part static and part touring site right next to the scenic loch fine. Friendly and very helpful staff who guide you to your pitch and check everything is OK. Good walks around the site in woods along a river and out onto the mud flats, where there is plenty of wildlife to see.View all reviews by mrlovemuppet
Just remember if you are going during the summer to take midgey precautions. Touring pitches are by the loch and river and give a nice scenic view. The site was quiet when we went and very relaxing. This site also has a well know bistro on it called Skippers, and we had very good fish dishes here (as well as a local brew) and it is well recommended on trip advisor, so if you fancy a treat give it a go!!
not far from the site is the small town of Inveraray, where you can visit the pretty castle and also the ex jail house and pick up supplies from a couple of small supermarkets.
