Absolutely love this site. The toilet and shower block are far superior to most I have stayed at previously.View all reviews by explorerdora
Small pitch on sloping grass - will need blocks. Very quiet. Lovely gentle walk from site to river, in which families are swimming. Tempted to paddle in the lovely warm water - this is August so will probably be less welcoming rest of year.
Unable to find TV channels but EE MiFi works.

Lovely, relatively isolated site (no shop/pub nearby). Excellent airy new toilet block with washing up area & large showers. Grass pitches require blocks to level. No TV reception but phone signal good. Touring pitches don’t have the best vista but woods leading down to river make up for it.View all reviews by strinesian

Agree this is a little gem of a stie, if you want frills, shops and a fun park this is not the site for you. If you want good basic faciilities, friendly helpful owners at a decent price then stay here. 2 people, 1 dog and ehu for £15 per night and free showers. No set departure time just respect others is the only site rules, would defo stay again.View all reviews by burcyluton

Great value for money site, quiet and relaxed atmosphere and also some quaint old abbey ruins thrown in. Owners are pleasant and helpful - accessible by phone if not on site to advise on any queries. Located in among the Snowdonia hills, so a different experience to others on the coast areas. Altogether this is a nice little site, a mix of touring pitches, a camping field and a number of static caravan homes.View all reviews by naughtyrascal

A real gem - wonderful welcome from owner and other long term site residents. Lovely facilities and location, dogs welcome and a short drive to amazing locations such as Cader Idris or Barmouth. Ruined monastery onsite is a real treat; with the adjacent river there is plenty of natural beauty to enjoy. Toilet facilities clean and accessible. Excellent value for money and would not hesitate to return in the future.View all reviews by hamiltontribe

Lovely setting alongside Abbey on the same site. Good showers and toilets. About a 2mile walk into Dolgellau which is possible directly from the site.View all reviews by bobbi
